| This battle against Gold turned out to be way more difficult than expected. Company 8 is the underdog here as Gold seemed almost invulnerable. Lol, the fan service this episode though. But yeah, this was a team effort. Pretty cool to also see Lisa being part of the fight. She's a valuable ally to have. What an ending though, yikes. |

| Banger episode! Not as much Sakuga as last week, but David Production still cooked for scenes like Tamaki’s Nekomata giant fireball, and it was awesome to a full episode of the 8th working together(without their pants) to take down an enemy π the fact all this could’ve gone 100x quicker if Arthur was there makes it even funnier. Licht reminded everyone why he’s so important to the 8th in this ep. Might not have any physical abilities himself, but his intellect and ability to calmly analyse situations and go for the optimal solution can’t be overstated. The 8th would’ve been fighting gold for hours and just expended their firepower had he not been there. My baby Lisa got some shine finally!!! We need to see more of her in fights. But RIP Gold, bullet straight to the noggin from the lieutenant after all that hype she was nothing without her magnetic gold gimmick. Who’d have thought the solution would be fighting her without their pants tho, for once Lucky Lecher fanservice gimmick is actually plot relevant π MY GOAT ARTHUR IS SO OP!! Violet flash looked so dope, but the fact nobody, including us in the audience noticed him falling out the car and not being at the fight until now is fucking killing me man I love this cast so much lmao. Hell of a cliffhanger to leave off on with Obi there. Can’t wait for next week which should be even better. |

| It was better than the last episode. Arthur really is way ahead of the other members of the Crew 8, because he defeated that White Clad so quickly, while the others took a whole episode to take out Gold (but it was quite OP how they took her with a single shot, before she could say anything). It seems Arthur now has a bigger enemy though. I really doubt Obi is turning into an infernal. Either someone saved him in that instant (like Joker, because he was oddly quiet this episode), or he's just not going to transform into an infernal, like what happened with that kid from season 1 and 2. If he were to turn into an Infernal, they would have already shown it this episode. The fanservice was crazy this episode too... Even the male characters got "fanserviced", Fire Force doesn't play when it comes to this matter. |

| Yeah Company 8! Yeah science! Loved seeing Company 8’s teamwork that was needed for taking out Gold, and my boy Arthur is finally back. Dude is so unserious even when he has serious moments lol. They left us with quite the ominous cliffhanger this week, with Obi in the verge of turning into an Infernal. |

| Using those visors to share data and allow data analysis is pretty smart. Gold's true ablities really made her pretty cost efficient as an assassin. Comepletly forgot about Lisa's ability. Using Tamaki's tail as a pot defo was one hell of a plan. About time Arthur made it to the field but damm that was one hell of an entrance. Now how to see how the main dish is served while the leftovers are eradicated. |

| oh shit, was expecting a classic shonen last minute safe for Obi, but I'm pleasently surprised to actually see in happen. So don't let me regret that statement in the next ep. Still got to see that safe in the other fight. But I'm not mad, love to finally see Arthur joining the battle. What an entrance. The fanservice was kinda wild tho and pretty creative. But I'm not gonna lie, It took me out of it for a second. After that it was fun again. |
| the tactic to save Obi was obvious to me as soon as he popped up chained to that Cross. ignore Burns entirely. the guy's got no mojo unless you attack him. every time Shinra fought Burn the guy has shown NO ranged attacks. all his mojo is within the sphere of reach of his limbs. so, Shinra does a spiraling upwards acceleration to his max speed without an Adola Link. a straight trajectory up in the air would hit the barometric pressure limit too early and Shinra would pass out from asphyxiation due to low Oxygen concentration. an upwards spiral would give Shinra more DISTANCE over TIME to create SPEED. then he powerdives/stoops like a peregrine falcon, which is the fastest bird on Earth with stoops officially clocked ABOVE the speed of sound. at just the right angle of approach, Shinra will be able to blow up the ENTIRE top of that building... from behind Burns and below his line of sight. Burns wouldn't have a building to stand on, Obi will probably die, maybe, well... we all know anime logic... this is science fantastical Fire Force ya know. Gold's mojo is entirely and utterly scientifically boffo to the max. as soon as Gold's 'stolen items' met appropriately heated air, the magnetic fields 'attached' to them would VANISH! Lisa's magnetism would negate and overpower Gold's fields, EACH AND EVERY TIME SHE DEFLECTED ONE! because her fields are an inherent (and presently unfukkingsplained thing!) to her flame tentacles. magnetic fields are A FUKKING BITCHKITTY AND A HALF!!! to manipulate OVER A DISTANCE! every fukking magnetic object in the vicinity of Gold herself would go bazonkers! with the amount of EM energy she's fiddling round with. every single item tethered to Gold IS TETHERED! there is a known line from Gold's gauntlet TO EACH ITEM. that specifically IS THE FIELD moving that item in the air. like kites on strings! interfere with that string? twang... the field is broken and the item flies away according to trajectory/velocity blablabla. blowing winds dude? would suffocate. instantaneously. as soon as he turned his power on. unless he's got a SCUBA rebreather to supply him with air. or a 'space helmet'. how do you make wind with heat? the AIR has to start somewhere. Point A is his hands and feet. what happens when you heat air? it gets less dense by thermal expansion via the excitement of molecules and atoms. where is that circular rotating air going? away from his body. low pressure around his nose and mouth would result as he would have to expand the thermal zones further and further and further... air is fukking insanely shitt low density even at sea level. it doesn't transmit heat without a FAN worth a crap. bumping atoms and molecules hitting each other is how heat is transferred. low density substances like air don't 'whack' easily. WATER is denser and handles compression and 'being squirted' better than air. when you push air, what is left behind? less air. of course, the surrounding air NOT being pushed rushes into the lower pressure zone, creating more wind. but to MOVE a person like he is flying? yeah. or throw over 75mph winds at somebody? big fans. BIIIIIIG fans. moving fast. with lots of 'fresh air' volume to suck from. know what happens right around those big fan blades? lower oxygen concentrations because the air is moving from Point A (behind the fan) to Point B (the target!). you can NOT suck harder than a tropical storm with windspeeds near 75mph. even crazy well trained athletes can't do that. your diaphragm and ribs and lungs themselves were never naturally selected to breathe easily in a hurricane. ergo, blowing winds dude? would pass out as soon as he switched on. this show isn't my first science fantastical rodeo. |

| Tamaki's butt saved the day, I'm glad all the members are having their talents shine but I really wish shows from this genre / type someday would power up the female member to a genuine level with the other males. |

| And just like that, Gold is dead, she didn’t get a flashy anime death, just a single bullet to the forehead, she was pretty cool and amusing with her fixation on money but I’m glad she’s donion rings. I also appreciate the fact that Fire Force is merciless when it comes to killing the white-clad, ever since the Purple Haze knights it hasn’t been afraid to cull them, I just wish one of the main ones would die next like Haumea or Yona, Arrow not so much because she’s hot lol. But Gold wasn’t an easy kill, it took quite a bit of doing to end her, including Company 8 dropping their pants lol, only in Fire Force man, but hey at least Tamaki wasn’t singled out in the fanservice department this time, although the fact they made a super attack on top of her butt was wild lol, dat ass ain’t just for sitting that’s for sure. And this wasn’t just a good showing for Tamaki, but for Licht as well, he’s helped the 8th time and time again with his big brain and he’s done it again. Lisa was also pretty awesome here, I loved getting to see her using her fire ability for the first time since her villain arc, more Lisa content is always welcome in my book. And I had a feeling this Stream guy would die quickly since it’s happened before with the white-clad extras, and yep, Arthur to the rescue lol, glad he’s finally rejoined the fight tho, hopefully he gets to pop off during this arc. And man that is a mean cliffhanger lol, I doubt Obi becomes an Infernal here but I am really curious as to how he makes it out of this if he does survive, will he be compatible with the flames like Nataku or will something else save him? Next Friday will be here in the blink of an eye so I don’t need to wonder long. |

| Great episode as always, I like that they don't hesitate on killing their enemies, Hinawa is so cool, he avenged the 4th former Captain without even knowing it. Lisa finally deciding to help was also cool. And Tamaki, her growth has been great, her ecchi scenes are all over the place but who cares at this point, she is amazing. Btw this is what a peak female looks like and I don't care what anyone says:  Arthur is finally here! As always, the best for last! That ending was amazing, finally a bad guy who actually uses his head, "implant the insect in Obi", that was all they had to do to begin with lol, we are now sure that Burns truly became evil. I'm sure Obi will become the 7th pillar. |

| Late reply, but good ep Finally company 8 vs Gold is over, gang did well to win. Nice to see Arthur back again, VERY confused why they didn't put "" fully in the ep but it's fine ig since "" is in the pv. Great but minimal animation, way better than the last 2 eps. They gotta stop wasting time on things that could easily be summarized. Better ep in terms of pace ig. This ep adapted from ch 184-187 (4 ch), tho some pages of 186 is left out along with most of 187. SO more like 3.5 ch was adapted. Based off pv we should get "". Our first high PRIORITY EP "should" be next ep. 9/10 |

| I really shouldn't have gotten my hopes up so high after that banger first episode because man has every episode since then just been on disappointment after the other. Be it the slow pacing, the fact they have CUT DOWN (???) the runtime, and yes the elephant in the room, the Tamaki fanservice. Couple that with mediocre animation and storyboards... this is actually season two level again. |
