| Annnnd we are BACK... yet again lol. Picking up right where we left off immediately, yes only a less than thirty second recap?!?!? Love to see it. Anyways, yeah nice to see Luffy and the gang.... being Luffy and the gang and doing the most lol. It is nice to see everyone all together again, not just because it's been six month, but like we deadass haven't seen them together since when they first got their outfits lmao. Anyways, looks like most of the seraphim are in control for the most part, S-Sanke in particular because, would you guess, yep, Luffy... lol. That joke will never not be funny. Anyways, the guys are finally putting into motion the big escape, but yeah, won't be easy, so gotta send out some of the group to go make sure everything will be okay first, with Luffy and co. But yeah, finally, we get to see an admiral actually throw hands with the Straw Hats after the time skip. Not counting Fujitora ‘cause he was kinda chillin, and Luffy and Zoro weren’t serious either. Real Navy power coming up. And yeah, just as I thought, the ED is legit crybait with Bonny and Kuma... and fuck me, it's working. Can't wait for that episode man..... WE ARE SO BACKKKKKKKKK |

| So, the Strawhats are planning to escape Egghead! Franky's new voice sounds deep unlike the previous one. I guess it will take time to get used to..... We had some S-snake moments that were wild! Well She is Hancock at the end of the day lol! So, are we heading towards Elbaph or there is something else in store for us (I know what happens later on as a manga reader but this an an anime-only thread so please anyone who reads the manga, do not discuss spoilers in this thread!) |

| Franky's VA really nailed it here! I can see why Yao-san approved Subaru-san now. I didn't feel it last episode but to be honest that was just a phrase so it was probably just me being a little close-minded than anything else. Kizaru-san is a beast and things are definitely shaken up to the core now. I thought Egghead was coming to an end by the way things were progressing which made me question why manga readers were saying there's still half of Egghead to come, xD. Luffy challenges the Five Elders now but his position is obviosuly far different to the time when he went up against the world nobles back in Sabaody. ED seems to suggest there's more to Kuma-san and Bonney, don't know if I'm ready for it... @AvrahamBen22 Back to an episode a week from now on. It was two episodes this week to announce the return pretty much and get fans hyped up. |

| Ok, this is a bit weird, but not in a bad way at all, the fact that an episode just released yesterday and another one released today as well. The episode started off hilarious, with the call between the five elders & Luffy. Man, every time this man Luffy be on the phone, it's always hilarious, especially with Usopp's comments after every phrase Luffy says. Loved when Nami stood up for Robin as well, when York made fun of Ohara, was so adorable. And in regards to Luffy's original plan of using York as a shield, i mean, did not expect it to work in the first place, but the fact that the 5 elders actually still have use for York because of the mother flame, actually comes in Luffy's favor, so that was cool, they can actually use her as a shield when necessary. That aside, i never expected Lucci to actually be on the Straw Hats' side at all, but even he ain't that stupid as to fight them when they're together when he cannot even 1v1 Luffy anymore, so i loved the fact that he decided to help his association by leaking beneficial info instead, although i wonder how he actually managed to do that when his bird was on his shoulder the whole time, while he did not leave his place at all, so i wonder. Now, i guess we're gonna actually start our first One Piece fight in 6 months, which is apparently Sentomaru against Borsalino! Have always said that since before, but i can never get enough of Borsalino's voice. The VA is truly excellent for not just vocing the character, but literally in a way that expresses the vibe of the character excellently. No surprise i guess, since these professionals have been in the game for decades. If anyone had asked me before Egghead got animated, i would've never would've expected a Sentomaru against Borsalino in a million years. Bit sad, due to the fact that they ain't just colleagues but apparently with a lot of shared background history, and although i'm sure it's a Borsalino victory, i'm still excited as to how the fight will go. Since the trailer showed G5 Luffy against Borsalino, i think Borsalino is actually gonna beat Sentomaru, when Luffy will come for the rescue. Can't even begin to imagine how good of a fight it's gonna be. If what i'm saying is true and they're actually gonna fight, then this is gonna be Luffy's first actual fight against an admiral, since all the previous times were never fights as much as the Straw Hats getting rekt every time they run upon an admiral, but that was all during paradise, but now we're in the new world, so i cannot even begin to imagine how good of a fight it's gonna be. Super duper excited! |

| I watched the "retirement party" / transition for Franky's VAs. It was sweet. I think the new guy did a good job. I hope the original is doing well in his fight against cancer. Good episode. Glad Robin stopped Luffy's big mouth before it was too late. I'm already excited for Elpabh! Borsallino vs. Sentamaru. Surrogate dad vs son. |

| that's not Franky anymore 😭😭😭 why couldn't the production committee find a VA that could impersonate Franky's OG voice??? I'm pretty sure there are at least a dozen people who could do something close to the original New VA makes Franky feel like a totally different character |

| That was actually peak! Like actually. Perfect pacing, perfect animation, perfect script. WTF. TOEI actually cooked. I loved all the additional scenes that they added that weren't in the manga. They didn't feel out of place at all and enhanced the story even further. 10/5 I'm gonna have to get used to Franky's new VA Subaru Kimura. Hearing Toudou's voice coming out out of Franky's mouth is weird af. |

| I'm still technically a few episodes behind(though am caught up with the manga) but decided to skim this one to check the new ops/eds and pacing stuff but my biggest takeaway? Yikes...that new Franky voice is gonna take some getting used to. I knew it was coming and understand why it happened but that was not a pleasant experience. So it's not only in English when voice changes are glaringly unfortunate and awful then, huh? |

| Eh, there was some of the usual stalling-frame treatment in the slower parts, a couple of face-only animation sequences, but otherwise the quality has jumped up immensely. The show is back to watchable quality thankfully. |

| I like that they gave a little bit more background to how the Straw Hats captured York Franky's new voice is definitely different but I like that Subaru Kimura isn't just trying to do a Kazuki Yao impression, it'll definitely work for me The last scene with Kizaru and Sentomaru was great, and man that new ED is gorgeous just like the OP! Great to have two consecutive episodes like that! |

| Egghead arc is getting serious again, can't wait to see the various fights of egghead animated after the 6 month break. Hopefully pacing won't be bad and the animation team has been killing it recently. |
