| @SakshaM- Looking at your anime list you have some mecha anime rated fairly highly but no Gundam yet. I'd suggest you might want to check out either Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo (it has a prologue you might watch first) or Kidou Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans as a decent entry point. (Purists might tell you Kidou Senshi Gundam is where to start but even if you wanted to go original, I'd think maybe Kidou Senshi Gundam I was more digestable.) |

I see you have liked shows with strong female leads with action and a bit of romance (Spice & Wolf and Apothecary Diaries for example) so I think you'll like Akatsuki no Yona!!!!
Very good story and well written characters, with a great female lead and amazing action and world building. The romance is also very wholesome well done and paced to not disrupt!!
You should also check out the manga since despite the adaptation being pretty good it doesn't compare imo with how good the art and manga truly are!! (plus it is not fully adapted and the manga is close to ending aswell)

@AnimeDxn I might have chosen something a little different for you. Since you've seen shows like Cowboy Be-bop and Spice & Wolf I thought that you might be into "classics" with both focus on soundtrack and character development. The anime I chose as my recommendation to you is Sakamichi no Apollon/Kids on the Slope. If it doesn't suit your taste then I could try to find something else. For example, I see that you don't have for example Clannad in your list; which could fit together with your slice of life/drama/romance anime (especially the after story, which is what most people regard as almost a must watch).

Instead of being a contest between hip-hop groups it's a rap battle contest between groups. There isn't any phantometal but there are microphones with hypnotic powers. |

| @Robertson1 With reference to your favorites...I've only ever seen a few episodes of Spiral (not even enough to put it on my list yet, especially since it was many years ago) but for some reason I remember it gave me really similar vibes to Suki na Mono wa Suki Dakara Shou ga Nai!! (possibly just because of some combination of the mysterious atmosphere, the art style and an awesome character in each of them played by one of my absolute favorites, Ishida Akira). I also felt the instant urge to recommend Higepiyo to you purely based on your avatar...but seriously, since you had the good taste to enjoy Yankee Hamsters, you might actually like Higepiyo too. ;D |

It's a more serious anime about a group of people forced to join together to develop a deeper bond and push toward their humanity. I haven't watched it in years but it's one of my favorites. You might like the character dynamics. |
