Now it's not so much about how many anime I've seen that I care about, though it was a priority in my teenage days. My current worry is how I can get better at animating in the style that I see in anime. It's good to focus on the bigger scale but I actually like more right now to focus more on stuff lie micro-pacing, the scale of cuts or scenes themselves, and to learn from case studies how animators really do it.

I spent like the entire morning doing that and you can clearly see it leaves a lot to be desired

Also a video I did on micropacing if you're interested, this kind of stuff can really rejuvenate your love for anime (from an animation standpoint)
