| I'd say a fair amount of my favorites below the top 5 on my profile fall into this category. Who the hell ever talks about Mira from Dimension W for example? Even in my top 5, one sticks out, that being Hakaze Kusaribe. Never seen a single other person bring her up when talking about waifu. |

I think many if not most of the husbando's i've ever had were not popular picks even among the fandom of the respective series/franchise they came from. Like, i can 1000% guarantee my two husbandos now won't come up in any discussion about husbandos whatsoever, like, one of them has even been completely forgotten by the creators of the game he comes from!!! >:( |

| I wonder how many viewers of Akazukin Chacha have picked Dorothy as waifu? She is kind of mean and evil, also lazy and quite ignorant. A positive side of hers is being from a rich family, but said family have blacklisted her. For me she is perfect waifu material. |

I do have one, Rin Tokikaze from the Manga & Game Akiba's Trip 2  I'm only one of 2 people on MAL who has her a favourite character, and as far as I know the only one with her as a waifu here. I think she's the least popular girl from her game, it's quite funny and sad watching gameplay and hearing gamers cuss her. Although I was like that too! I absolutely hated her when I first played the game, she's well written to be hated. But playing the game more, especially her route I realised why she was like was, and totally fell in love with her by the end of her good ending. Wish there was more artwork of her (or just anything really) as there's not much of that either. |
