| Oh Takumi...maybe he shouldn't try to keep an eye on Mira. He should clear his head and not get silly ideas based on his impressions. Looks like this episode also involved Aoi and Ren. Tbh, Ren's personality is how I'd expected to behave like at someone of his age. Kinda felt bad that Wakabayashi had to deal with all the drama this episode. |

| Quite the unusual topic this week with Ren, you can really see how his dad wants to protect him from the eyes of society... But at least he accepted his likings. Please I beg you. End all this missunderstanding next episode explaining what Widow really means, I'm liking it a lot but these parts really annoys me |

| Wakabayashi was speaking facts about how society will treat you completely differently if you aren't within the norm, but I'm glad that he did allow Ren to wear skirts in the lodge. He's not a horrible dad. He's just trying to look out for his son. |

| Didn't know that Ren was interested in wearing skirts instead of chasing them. Aoi has a brand new look, but is still stalking Takumi. Now Mira is confused about Aoi and Takumi's relationship. We finally get to see Mira's mother next week. |

| What a wholesome episode for Ren. We are starting to see Mira having feelings for Takumi. I wonder if Tasuke and Mira's mother had a similar relationship to those two, even though they said Tasuke was also a wido. |
| Oh my god I wasn't expecting a surprisingly beautiful message about loving yourself instead of becoming the person that made you hate yourself from THIS SHOW. Incredible, from Miyakusa going nuts with the squid and potatoes from his brain rotting from the supposed NTR, to the shenanigans of the three tenants tossing back and forth Ren's NOT pornomag, to even getting a visual upgrade for Aoi-chan (though truth be told I preferred her long hair style) Oh yeah, and there was an alien squid chase sequence, you never know what you'll get with this show. AOTS PS - Nice backgrounds in this ep too |

| Aoi-chan is cute with her new look. She was starting to go down the yandere-route a little bit when she started sniffing the memo. I hope they explore her past a little more, like what led to her becoming a recluse after a career in the restaurant industry. The kid being into frilly skirts is certainly weird, but not unusual for kids his age to be exploring and learning about the environment around them and the world at large. Thank goodness he wasn't born in the US though...and that's all I'll say on that matter. So the cat is out of the bag, now that Miyasaka finds out Mira's a "widow". |

Looks like this episode will get rid of a few of the bigoted viewers. Tolerance and understanding please. Is that too much to ask? You don’t have to be a cross dresser, just accept that others are free to choose.

| Takumi's definitely thinking too much betwen Mira and Shoin, so much that his one-sided love becomes more pronounced, as Matsubara puts it, though not succinctly. Even Aoi is getting ideas about Takumi, and Ren knowing Naosuke not being a normal dog, he is rather conflicted...in dressing up like a girl, and not chasing after one. Takumi, Ren's father and Shokichi wanting to know about Ren's desires, but it took Matsubara to reveal that he wanted to try wearing a skirt. Unfortunately, that carried his rebellious phase, but as long as it's within Astro Lodge, it's OK, thanks to Mira. But that building that looks like a love hotel, it's actually Shoin's residence, and more or less Aoi tidying up her appearances, it's a love quadrangle. Once again, the Hubbies has invaded Astro Lodge with the squid, and Shokichi bringing yet another memory for Tasuke....Takumi has to get transferred to space together with Mira at the utmost worst time possible. How will Takumi take in all of Mira's space nonsense? That's the most important thing... |

| When I saw the skirt circled and him trying to get the panties(skirt) in the bath I knew what he was actually upto. No first love for him yet, he just wanted the skirt. Aoi looks cute with short hair. Mira saw them holding hands and got jealous. So she likes him? About time he found out. Mira and Naosuke should explain things to him. The truth about Tasuke and Mira's mother is about to be revealed. Is it gonna be the same situation as Mira and Takumi's? She came to earth and met him, fell in love but she had to leave and they couldn't get together but unlike them Mira and Takumi will get together? Is this where this is going at? |

| So, Ren wasn't interested in the girl but her skirt... Bruh... Someone should give him a lungi. It's technically a skirt but it's masculine as fuck. Aoi looks so cute in her new get-up. Glad the love hotel misunderstanding is now over. Ig the perk of being such a short show is that smaller misunderstandings like this are fixed relatively quickly. If this was Maison Ikkoku the love hotel shit would drag on for 10 episodes. In fact, I think the love hotel misunderstanding in MI did last quite a long time. Of course, I loved it there because of how dramatic it was. The cat's out of the bag this time. I don't see how Mira would be able to explain this shit to Takumi. Unless Naosuke hits him on the head and makes him unconscious. But it'd be more interesting if he knew. |

| I think that the contingent of people reacting to the portion involving Ren and the skirt are overreacting. You don't have to agree with or subscribe to transgender ideology (I, for one, do not) to think that kids playing dress-up is completely harmless, including, yes, when it's boys playing in girls' clothes and seeing how they feel or the other way around. It doesn't mean they actually become the other sex or even think they are or are seriously trying to. Did none among you ever want to feel what clothes traditionally worn by the other sex felt like? Or your parents' clothes and clothes meant for adults generally or for different jobs? Or celebrate Halloween? It's something different, liberating, and fun. Even if it wasn't something harmless (like, say, a sex "conversion" surgery and the like), it'd still be completely fine as it's fiction portraying fictional characters and events. |

It's a comedy, but not everything that happens in it is a joke. There are some serious elements and character moments too, like a lot of the romance, the backstory and origin of Mira and the responsibility with the fate of the universe resting on her shoulders, finding the key, etc. So I don't think that this part was intended as a joke. More like just added characterization for one of the supporting characters. |
