Her, slightly overbearing at times, declarations of love generally lead to (slapstick) comedic situations/moments, because he is embarassed/too shy to admit/understand his own feelings and because she is (way) too intense in declaring hers. Despite a couple of kisses and a few other situations which almost lead to a kiss/a relationship, they do not progress significantly towards becoming a couple until the 2nd ova after the 2nd season (which already has the 'romance' tag) hence why I suggest 'romantic subtext' for the two seasons of the show :) Link to entry: Witchcraft Works Add: Romantic Subtext, Comedy Detailed Reasoning: Its main genre is comedy, and I'm very surprised to not see it here. Every episode has a ton of jokes, between the brocon little sister, the stupid band(s) of kemomimis, Kagari aloofness,... basically every witch in this show is a very quirky character and there are lot of absurd things in the world-building which are clearly there to make you laugh. Also, the anime is already tagged as 'Comedy' on Nautiljon and Imdb. It is pretty clear from the start the two main characters have feelings for each other, and as time goes on what has started as maybe a crush clearly develop into strong feelings of love. However, the show is mainly comedy/action focused and their feelings for each other only play a role at some key moments. This is very much a case of 'boy meets girl, they fall in love, but are not able/ready to confess their feelings for each other in the open yet': one of them act more or less indifferent, while the other act embarassed, whenever a situation which could lead to seomething appears, hence the request for the 'romantic subtext' tag. |

| @SurgingSoulZX A little correction here, as for Phantom, I think that the fact there is a child in the main cast, plus the fact that in the latter episodes some high school characters became prominent and relevant to the plot, wouldn't make it qualify for Adult Cast. Also, this is a spoiler but Also, for Gantz, all three main characters are under 18 so I am sure it cannot qualify. I think adding Adult Cast with underage characters are okay if they are like, only a small percentage is in the whole cast, they are not really relevant to the plot and none of them is a main character. I got it accepted with Excel Saga and Odd Taxi which have only one character that is under 18 but everyone else was an adult, especially the entirety of the main cast. |

All of that happens on the same story and in a span of just 26 minutes. This is unlike practically all other anime that exist. Second is the part of unsettled feelings, the overall reception of this OVA is really mixed, some people consider it great but some other people despise it, this can be checked on the score statistics, having one of the most divisive and varied ratings of all anime in this page.
