I tend to value story and characters above anything else, specially in comparison with more technical stuff. Having said that, in order for me to like a show it still needs to have at least decent animation and audio in addition to engaging characters and credible story.
10/10: Personal Favorite tier. I don't believe in a true 10 to everyone. So essentially I'll promote a 9 tier anime to this based on what I enjoyed more.
9/10: Masterpiece tier. Anime that could very well be represented as the best of its genre, serving as a referential in quality to be based on by similar anime. Anime in this tier are very rewatchable, have coherent plot and characters while still holding pleasant visuals and sound.
8/10: Peak Soul tier. Anime that excel in one aspect and/or plotless audiovisual masterpieces get this as a maximum score.
7/10: Generic Kino tier. Good anime that might follow some formulaic ideas but well executed nonetheless which I could say I enjoyed the experience and could see myself watching again but still doesn't have anything spectacular.
6/10: OK tier. Anime which felt as an enjoyable experience but don't give the rewatchable feeling. Would still watch canon sequels tho.
5/10: Generic trash tier. Anime that don't give the "I want more of this juice" feeling. Boring, an overall non-memorable experience.
4/10: Trash Kino tier. Anime with bad execution due to production, plot flaws, bad pacing or whatever but still had some nice ideas or salvagable scenes.
3/10: Cringe tier. This is the point where it starts to feel like watching this kind of media is a complete waste of time. Boring, slow-paced anime and/or 90%+ of the show is composed by either: ecchi shit, predictable silly jokes, slice of life tropes, scenes in which nothing of value is added in progressing the story and/or character development fall in this tier.
2/10: Shit tier. There's absolutely nothing this tier of anime has contributed to my overall anime watching experience.
1/10: Offensive tier. This tier of anime is so bad that it got to the point where it has permanently damaged my intelligence and my life expectancy.
