Synopsis

Despite having the upper hand, BC Freedom High School suffers a thorough defeat at the hands of Ooarai Girls Academy. Following their victory, the Ooarai girls decide to take a break before the next round. After discovering that Momo Kawashima is taking care of her family while studying for the university entrance exams, the rest of the Ooarai team become more determined to win the Winter Continuous Track Cup for the sake of Momo and her family.

Meanwhile, the second round of the tournament has started, and Ooarai now has to face Chi-Ha-Tan Academy. Having learned from the first round to not underestimate their enemies, Ooarai slowly approaches their opponent on the thick jungle battlefield.

Despite their best attempts to be cautious, Ooarai is immediately put in a difficult situation as Chi-Ha-Tan employs several new strategies devised by Haru Fukuda. Finding themselves between a rock and a hard place, Ooarai must claw their way out to claim another comeback victory and keep their championship hopes alive.

It's been nearly 2 years since the first film, and I must say it's worth the wait. Let's just hope won't take that long for the third fim to come out.

The second film is more action heavy than the first, having 2 matches in one film with short glimpses of the other school teams matches against other school team. Some of them needs to be fully introduced. Like the Koala team with their khaki Outback uniform makes me wonder if they really listen to that silent Koala as their team captain. With Spain big-breasted team versus team Saunder's, it's Kay's killer thigh's the winner. They read more

Girls & Panzer: Saishuushou Part 2

Continuing exactly from where part 1 left off we have another fantastic part to the existing show. Part 2 continues the fight against the BC Freedom High School and shows us how other schools are doing and finishes with the first half of the fight against the Chi-Ha-Tan Academy team.

The part where it shows the other teams performing is very nice and I am glad to see Anzio Girls High School doing well and also a funny shot of their usual food parties aftermath. Anchovy my favourite is always good to see.

The art used in the show is read more

I've watched a fair share of "cute girl doing cute things" anime. And even in a department full of cliches and overused tropes like this, Girl and Panzer is still somewhat a uniquely hilarious show with its whackiness nature and a captivating game of war tank.

Almost a year has past since the second part of Girls & Panzer: Saishuushou aired in Japan, finally I can get a hold of it. Coming in with high expectation, fortunately, Des Finale didn't disappoint. In the span of nearly an hour, it presented a very fast pace with 2 tank games picking up right where it left off. read more

It has been a while between the first delivery and this one, but, once again, the great quality of this OVA has left me speechless and looking forward to seeing the third part, hope it comes out soon!

Once again, as they already introduced in part 1, they have used first-person scenes (so well done that when I see them they break my head!) that make the experience of watching GuP DF2 even more enjoyable.

Likewise, the animation is still insurmountable, taking care of even the smallest detail. Occasionally I have had to stop the viewing to be more attentive to the occasional detail or easter egg read more
