| A day in life of our favourite fantasy party. A great laid-back and comfy episode, but I'm disappointed we didn't at least start the second trial to see what the catch is. |

| A very very relaxing episode. I forgot we've had these kind most of the time. From what I've seen from the PV for the 2nd exam, it's gonna be completely different. I really like to see Fern like that, it brings a lot of comedy interaction with Stark and Frieren. The flashbacks were wholesome as usual. |

| Well, I think we can just call this the Fern pout episode... As the first exam came to an end, a much needed respite for Frieren, Fern, and all the other exam takers was in order. Unironically, this might be the episode I enjoyed the most in the second cour so far, because I've been such a fan of the slower, slice of life moments and the goofy interactions between the characters, and we had a wild Stark sighting! Man I have missed him! Not to say I haven't enjoyed the action episodes, I just feel these types of episodes fit this series' identity a bit better. Another strong part of the episode was Übel walking with Land. I don't know why really, but Übel really commands every scene she's in, and her voice actress Hasegawa Ikumi has done such a good job voicing her. I enjoy every moment she's on screen. The second exam is imminent, and the most hype moments may very well be ahead. I'm looking forward to it! |
| "Oh no... Fern is sulking" - the episode. Character interactions were a total joy to watch. It was nice to see Stark (and Himmel!) again and we also got a bit more insight into characters such as Übel, Lawine and Denken's group. Looking forward to the Second Exam! |

| I love this show to heck. OMG this episode was so cute. Mommy Fern getting mad at Stark and Frieren XD I really love how they took some time to flash out the characters for this arc and give them abit more personality. This series takes its world building seriously. All the nostalgia flashbacks for Frieren too. Life is so fleeting. |
| another boring filler episode, with strange Fern behaviour and moods.. does she have strong period? she acts worse than a child in this episode and she supposed to be 17? totally wasted screen time on Fern, instead they should progress Fern X Stark love story... |

| Love me a good down-time episode, especially if said episode contains some cute Fern moments; which it did. Stark seeing the others again for the first time after the first test and somehow immediately pissed Fern off doesn't surprise me. Seeing the test takers interact outside of the test was pretty cool, with Ubel trying to steal Land's clone spell and now trying to learn more about him (to his displeasure,) Denken and his group finding that one resturant that everyone ended up at, and Karne and Lawine being Karne and Lawine. Looking forward to the next test, which seems like a very tough dungeon raid. |

| After how the first mage exams went, it was nice that this episode was very chill and relaxing. Unfortunately for Stark, that means his days of being lazy are over, which made Fern pretty angry at him. XD Thankfully, going to a nice restaurant and being able to order whatever you want instantly put a big smile back on Fern's face. While I do love how she went for multiple desserts, I hugely respect Frieren's massive plate full of meat. Petite girl, huge appetite! I did enjoy seeing how the other character involved in the earlier exam were chilling out as well. Ubel being able to copy any ability from someone that she's close enough to does make her more of a threat to whoever goes up against her in the upcoming second exam, but either way, I did enjoy her talk with Land. Same with Kamme and Lawine hanging out with Frieren and Fern after seeing Stark getting dragged off by Wirbel, which had me laughing. With this, I'm expecting the 2nd exam to begin in the next episode or so. I do look forward to seeing how the remaining participants get on. =) |

| Fern was mad af this episode. A stark contrast from the cool collected exam taker. She's really putting Stark in his place I mean drinking juice in the middle of the night, for shame. Gotta love how the crew has figured out how to calm her down. By her sweets and snacks and her mood will get better. Glad we had more Stark in this episode I missed the guy. He's getting bullied by everyone but Frieren this episode. I hope he made friends with that silver haired guy. |

| This episode brought back my favorite thing about the show, the juxtaposition of past and present to touch upon universal and human themes. The whole restaurant chef detour was some of what this show tends to be best at, and the Himmel quote is pretty much the entire concept of this show concisely communicated in one sentence. Add in some amazing and great character moments and interactions, and this episode is all my favorite things about Frieren in 23 minutes. Great episode. Amazing show. |

| This arc is so boring or at least too stretched that I've forgotten how much I appreciate the SoL elements in this anime. But I definitely haven't forgotten how people are already willing to declare the characters a couple in love just because of an obviously pure humorous segments. Shippers never change, I guess. |
