| Marco's goodbye was adapted nicely despite the flashback. Or maybe because the flashback felt appropriate here. Short and sweet. After 130 episodes we finally learned what Blackbeard was after and the Seraphim are here. It's still a mystery what he did do to almost double his bounty. Obviously feels like Oda just made it so for him to be still ahead of Luffy above anything else. Good episode. Just felt a bit short and midway through you could already tell that they wouldn't adapt the full chapter with that pacing. Blackbeard intercepting Hancock with Kurouzu was fire. And I loved how she kept her haughty demeanour even when choked. |

| Oh Boa, never change. One day Luffy will accept you. At the Revolutionary Army's central command on Momoiro Island, Koala and her fellow officers achieve a successful reunion with Bartholomew Kuma. They also receive a communication from Sabo. Meanwhile, with assistance from the Red Hair Pirates, Marco returns to Sphinx. On the other hand, Amazon Lily is in the process of recovering from the recent invasion. In the midst of the invasion, the Marines deploy their latest Pacifista model, Seraphim, with the purpose of apprehending Boa Hancock. The Blackbeard Pirates are also on the offensive, seeking to steal her devil fruit power. We're back to the usual pace of 13 pages per episode before Gear 5 adaptation, and you can definitely sense it in this episode. It's kind of funny how they threw in a flashback within a flashback, even bringing in a Marineford flashback – pretty unexpected. The whole Boa situation unfolded in a way I didn't see coming. I was prepared for the Marines, but having Blackbeard and a powerful new Pacifista join in was a real surprise. Speaking of the Pacifista, didn't expect Toei to go that crazy with the animation in their fights. Boa's powers are downright terrifying. The fact that her death might not break the spell suggests beating her might not undo it, unlike what we've seen with other Paramecia types. Boa's in Blackbeard's shackles now. What will happen? |

| Surprisingly no re-cap for this episode. Yamato looks really pretty, didn't expect that they would show her again after wano O: and they really re-used a flashback. They really streched it out with so much re-caps with the Marineford. That zoom in animation for Margaret was so weird.......and gotta love the SFX for the tremor tremor fruit coming back, as BB is coming to Amazon lily.It's nice seeing Boa Hancock in high quality animation. WHAT THE HELL?! A NEW PACIFISTA?!?! It's better in every way. Koby is so resilient and capable against Hancocks charm. But goddamn the Pacifistas are so cool. They had decent animation on the last part with Koby, Hancock and BB. |

mommy boa hancock is back, what a great day to be alive. got everyone mesmerised as usual. she really went in with her heel at sabo and that should've been me. blackbeard a bitch for getting to grab her but he's scenes were undoubtedly cool. wano is over but toei continues to cook. great episode with loads of great animation with the seraphims, marco, blackbeard and mommy boa.  |

| I was waiting for Boa to throw her head back and say "You dare step foot on my island?!" The pose is absolutely ridiculous, but I miss it. Mihwak PX looked more like Zoro to me. Maybe he needs facial hair. I don't remember Blackbeard acquiring White Beard's devil fruit power. I just finished a re-watch of Impel Down guess I'll keep going and let my heart break again. |

| great to see mommy back on my screen. the seraphim have been introduced in the anime, which marks the first of many groundbreaking introductions in the egghead arc. can't wait to keep seeing it all animated |

| I have to admit that it's always a bit strange not to start an episode with a recap of the latest events, but that doesn't mean that I don't welcome it. With the little flashback we finally received an official explanation or rather a statement as to why Yamato is not accompanying Luffy on his further journey. With Kaido's fall, Greenbull's attack and Wano's resulting vulnerability, it was only logical that Yamato would have concerns and would therefore be reluctant to go on a journey with Luffy and his friends. It may be a shame, but as Luffy mentioned, if Yamato stays in Wano, he won't have to worry either. Marco's farewell couldn't have been handled any better. Be it the previous farewell with Shanks, which was designed in a very funny way, or the slightly emotional farewell to Luffy, who finally got the chance to properly thank Marco for what he did for him in the Paramount War. In general, Marco was one of the biggest MVP's in the entire series. Without him, things certainly wouldn't have gone so smoothly for the Straw Hats. I hope we see him again in the future. The situation on Amazon Lily is much worse than I initially thought. With the fall of the 7 Warlords of the Sea, the emergence of the Navy was a mere formality. Blackbeard's appearance, however, was rather unexpected. I wonder how long he had been thinking about getting Boa's Fruit or if this idea really only manifested in his head with the fall of the 7 Warlords. Aside from that, I'm shocked about the new Pacifistas. Not only do they have the same appearance as the young King (Lunarian), who was captured in his past for testing purposes and at some point freed by Kaido, no, they also have such frightening strength that the old Pacifistas look like a laughing stock . With this, Vegapunk has once again outdone itself. Even Blackbeard had his problems and was sent flying, which incidentally led to part of this gigantic mountain being split off with a single slash. Nevertheless, he once again impressively demonstrated the power of the Yami Yami no Mi. Even the Pacifista was immediately aware of the danger. As always, Boa offered a divine sight, which was once again confirmed by the many stone statues of the Navy soldiers and Blackbeard's two crew members, who had previously risked a big mouth. Without Blackbeard's small intervention, Corby would undoubtedly have received a severe attack. While I hate to see Blackbeard grab Boa by the throat, it made for a terrific scene with the ensuing juxtaposition of their bounties.  1 Billion 659 Million Berries is an incredibly high bounty and yet it seems completely hopeless against someone like Blackbeard who can cancel out devil fruits. Another very enjoyable episode. I'm really excited to see how this whole thing will turn out and how Boa was able to escape the situation. |

| It's interesting to learn more about other characters and their current situations. These new pacifistas are no joke. It's interesting how they look like a kid Mihawk/Hancock. |

The animation was nice during action scenes, the filler scenes that were added were actually good and didn't annoy me, and what's even more impressive is that Toei didn't even adapt a full chapter this time around yet the quality of the episode was still slightly above average. If only every episode were like this... |

This is what provides the story with some much needed tension, drama and darker tones and sets up a very malicious villian. Oda likes to be real with his manga, not worry about censoring every god forsaken thing because society can't hack it. |

| @Early_Morning Yeah this is going to be a standard pacing from this point on because the story itself is moving much more rapidly in the manga. TOIE can afford to pace things slower but still not end up being a detriment to the viewers experience because there is so much packed into these chapters. |

| Yamato speaking smartly So they start out, but showing us Hancock gets out of this situation. Right now looking worse than last preview since the seraphim seem kind of rogue. On the subject of seraphim, I did not see this coming but makes sense after removing warlord system. They seem to have pacifistas now that are strong just like the warlords where here we saw a hancock variant and a mihawk variant. I would assume they have variants for all the warlords before removing the system. Tri-brid of pacifista technology, lunarian DNA, warlord DNA Not only that, but I'm guessing Rayleigh comes to save the day based on the preview, otherwise, I don't see it happening because Koby is really lacking even if against an almost 2b and 4b bounty. They really hype him up with the "Koby the Hero" title when we know "Garp the Hero" is on par with Gol D Roger. |

| Didn't except them to go even slower than 1 chapter per episode, they left 1/4 behind this adaptation. They did a good job though, i couldn't notice how absurd the pacing was until the end. |

| @Jorovie Do you consider this episode to be "slow paced"? For an episode that covered a little over half a chapter's worth of content, it felt a lot faster than some of the recent Wano episodes imo. Mostly because they actually expanded on some fight scenes. Toei really should've given us a filler arc between Wano and Egghead though, because if they're going to adapt 75% of one chapter each episode again going forward, then the slow pacing later is going to be insufferable. |
| They only adapted like 70% of the chapter but the hype action scenes made up for that. Yamakaji's the biggest L of the episode. |
