Basically, what job do you work? You can feel free to share your experiences and how much you enjoy where you're working. For me, I work as a customer service associate at a convenience store. I've mainly been making coffee and specialty drinks for customers. But I've also made cold and hot foods and snacks. And if customers have any requests or issues with something, I try to help them out.

I took an internship at a bank and at a training center for call center workers.

I worked at 2 different call centers and I'm in training for a part-time job at an insurance company + an application for a new call center

I don't have a stable job. I'm a musician, I'm in a college choir and I play the transverse flute. I earn some money doing translations from English to Spanish.

Got a stem degree, but since I dislike lab work; I chose to work retail.  It has been paying off since inflation has caused my salary to increase a lot over a few years.

At the moment I work at my city's history library/archive. I like it there, because it's quiet and not open for the public, so nobody ever comes to borrow a book unless they actually belong to the city's history association.

In the past I worked in a photo studio and a dental laboratory, but couldn't hold the jobs down and spent a few years as a NEET as well.

currently busy with my university but i only worked like those classic student jobs like at a convenience store, coffeeshops, a restaurant, other than that i was a summer camp counsellor for a couple years every summer
that was only during my BA, i dont think id be able to work while doing my MA

pfft thats also the reason why i had to move back to my parents place and commute to school for an hour instead of renting in the city
but the rent has skyrocketed in the past couple years, id have to work a lot, and i just know my studies would suffer way too much, and i plan to become a professor so my studies are really important to me

i think i am way too emotionally invested in justifying why i dont wanna work lmao

Restaurant, since almost 5 years, after 4 and a half in a bakery and almost 6 at McDonald's. Glad and thankful for all three of them. Starting with last year, i began to count every hamburger is sold day by day, and beginning with this one i also invented some sort of "achievements" about some happening events as if they would be PS4 trophies or similar... my boss is aware of this and laughs genuinely about it, considering he's part of my same generation and with the same interest in videogaming. Example... "sell 10 hamburgers or more for 15 days in a row", "break the record of 49 sold in the same day", "sell 10 or more before 7 PM" etc. etc.
(save your time and don't try to comfort when i rant on casual discussion or forum games, feel free to ignore me, i won't take it personally)

Currently I'm a NEET but I might be a joint landlord with my Sister if the last of my parent's former homes doesn't sell.

I haven't really worked as such, because of illness. But I was basically a property developer for my parent's homes, which became their business when they both retired early from the same illnesses I have.

I'm currently working as a freelance graphic designer. The flexibility of freelancing is great, as I can work from almost anywhere, be it my home or a local café.

However, I've toyed with the idea of a career change, perhaps becoming an assistant manager in customer service. I've always enjoyed interacting with people, and the thought of a more structured environment is appealing. However, I wouldn't make such a shift because the money I make as a graphic designer is much more than I would make as a customer service manager. See these salary stats for graphic designers, to have a better understanding.

So my opinion is that even if you have the job of your dreams, you definetly have to take into consideration the financial aspect of it. Nowadays money talks)

Most of them are probably in some IT job. Otherwise part-time jobs that can be done at home. Main admins fulltime at mal. Mal has been collaborating a lot more with local japanese companies too, so there's at least one relations manager.

My dyslexic brain just realized you meant mal users in general. I am a small trading firm owner working with my dad. Mainly in office chairs, sofas, etc. The company is over 25 years old. I have a diplo in interior design too. I also earn good in stocks, though i am not a day traders, i review my portfolio every now and then based on long term investments considering current economic cues.

I run a small support team for an online retailer. We work from home, so taking calls in a browser or phone app is clutch. Holiday spikes used to crush us, but queues and a basic IVR kept waits under control, and recordings sped up training. Whisper-coaching during live calls helped a lot.
