| Pretty much the aftermath of the battle. Obviously, they need more time to properly tell a narrative story and the finale doesn't conclude the entire series. However, it does reinforce the idea about the show since the start...Hyouma's willingness to do anything to protect Botan. Hyouma should relax a bit more like the other guys and girls though. Still, I think his character improved this season. Not too much change but he realizes what he has to do in his role. Good to see Botan doing well in the finale. |

| Hyoma readies himself for the big bad: Tenjinku, and with his door pulls, unleashes his strongest power. But not even that fazes the lead paper umbrella tsukumogami, which after being surrounded by Representative Kadomori, the Warazamawashi make their escape at the expense of Hyoma being down for the count. All of the Nagatsuki Bridal Trousseau are back together including Kushige, and the crisis at the very least, it's over, though Hyoma;s grandfather Zohei tried for the longest time to avoid the confrontation, and going forward, it's a maelstrom of war for Botan Nagatsuki. For now, Hyoma recovers while he's being watched by Botan all this time, while Representative Kadomori also recovers, with Tsubaki filling him in on the Warazamawashi and their exploits, especially Tenjinku who wore his brother's skin. But enough of that, it's the Kyoto Saenome celebratory bash where Hyoma is expected to accept the praise, though Kushige got that honour...and he talks, for good fortune for the year ahead. Sure, Botan had time off with her close friends, though they love to speculate about her and Hyoma's relationship, especially in the rain, sharing an umbrella together and witnessing a traditional wedding ceremony. It's up to them to keep up the good fight going forward. Even after 2 seasons, I just still find this rather mediocre to decent. Doesn't really pique my interest to try reading the completed manga in pure Japanese. Hyoma may have improved much, but the anime sure didn't. |

| I wish Hyouma had killed one of the Umbrella, maybe Shigure, with his new power. If he did it, I think it would be the perfect ending for this season. |

| No direct confession but that “if you think I’d look good in one, why don’t we get a closer look” followed by Botan grabbing Hyoma hand was cute as hell. Wasn’t expecting her to be that bold. But with someone as dense as Hyoma she had to 😂 I need season 3 NOW. They ended this right as things really got going with the story. Hyoma new door pull power looked sick, being able to damage Tenjinku was impressive. When Kai and the others showed up as backup they quickly dipped lol. Didn’t want problems with the entire city. Even the umbrellas aren’t that strong. Botan waiting by Hyoma side the whole time he was unconscious in hospital was so sweet. Their relationship has been the best part of this season. Taken massive strides forward together. Holy shit Kushige talked! Really cool hearing his voice for the first time. Seems like in addition to the Warazamawashi stuff, there’s also going to be drama between the 3 great houses in the future. The Yamichata couldn’t have been blind to what the bureau of traditional music were planning. If they are working with the umbrellas, what’s their endgame? A lot of steps forward in this season. I think the story and character stuff was way better in this one. Action scenes and animation still meh, but I mean who cares when the story is this good. I think the pacing during the final fight was a little drawn out and I would’ve liked to have got thru a couple episodes faster, but overall I’m pleased with the end result here. This was my favourite Monday seasonal and I’m going to miss it. Looking at the scoring for each episode it seems like I’m not alone in that department either so hopefully we get a renewal confirmation 🤞 |

| Hard to believe that the Hyoma back then was a bundle of hatred given how he is now. But conversely this shows how much meeting Botan has changed him. The consequences for this turn of events though sure are gonna be far reaching. Curious to see how Kushige would be able to fight now that he doesn't have to protect their home anymore. After this fight suffice to say that Botan now has much more people willing to protect her than before. Overall though a pretty solid finale that featured some nice action and lore expansion while having enough for another season. |

| I knew this was gonna happen but still felt anticlimactic. Anyway whatever we got sort of epilogue type of episode for the finale which was nice. They sure are shipping them hard. Maybe someday they'll have their marriage like that. Decent cour again, liked both cours of this anime and maybe hopefully we'll get more as I'd like to see how their story ends. |

| First of all I must say... I shouted loudly Laidaaa And man, this anime was unexpected for me, I tought that could be another standard shounen without any original or with some super fast MC power up but no, this one had a amazing character development and everything with all the possible time, I really hope that this anime can have more seasons or at least I hope that we can receive more projects like this one, with time to make a good character development and with some interesting relationship being created every single moment. |
| i found s1 very mediocre but i liked it for the hyouma and botan interactions, those were fun. meanwhile, this season was mostly just fights with underwhelming animation, i was getting bored a lot. at least the last scene was nice but 4/10, s1 was better than this season. |

| Gawd - what a pathetic ending. They must have only had a buck and a half budget for the episode. In any event, if there is a third season I won't bother with it. The writing is too stilted and clumsy and the animation is almost non-existent. |
| Good ending but definitely not over with the Umbrella group still at large. Also as it was pointed out, the House that the Bureau of Traditional Music falls under has some explaining to do, and also watching the developing relationship between Botan and Hyoma (btw I like how Botan's school friends tease her about her relationship with Hyoma). On a side note I thought Hyoma had no chance in defeating the Umbrella tsukumogami guy that looked like his brother so I'm glad that that was ruled out. Anyways, I liked this 2nd cour a bit more than the 1st one but with the above mentioned issues still open I hope a 2nd season is announced (or 3rd season if this is considered the 2nd). While the animation was average, the character designs were decent, and the storyline was pretty good. I give this an 8/10 as I did the 1st cour. |
| This episode was alright imo. Idk it just felt like maybe anticlimactic or slow to me. It's hard to describe but yeah. Main highlight of the episode was Kushige talking lol that really caught me off guard. Other than that though it just felt kinda boring This season overall though, I'm not really sure to how feel about it. I think I liked the first season more, but idk I might need to sleep on it |

| New technique of Hyouma was cool. Looking at this finale episode, it would be too sudden if they conclude the fight here. The previous episodes drag it though. Looks like they have to take a break for now both sides. Some episodes were kinda slow but I did enjoy it, nonetheless. The relationship between Hyouma and Botan is getting stronger. Nice way to end this season with the two of them and everyone just watching them. I'm interested to see more of the story and how it will end. |

| A good story that was adapted and really worth watching, very enjoyable and interesting to watch. One of the best anime this season guys. This is Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari. |

just like S1 it's a 10/10 another guilty pleasure of this season , the opening and ending were absolutely top tier bangers , I loved all the characters and I totally need a S3 announcement ASAP

| Watched both seasons back to back and sadly both suffer from poor animation in many scenes. It was still enjoyable but it could have been much better. 6/10 for both seasons. |

| @Darklordx265 No one is. I watched 1st season and started this one expecting it to end the series. I didn't know about how much of manga 1st season adapted so... And since I don't drop anime, I had to finished it. Now, will I watch next season(s)? Probably not. |
| Decent season,only hand holding in romantic department but better something than nothing.The umbrella squad seems interesting and Hyoma finally found the one he was looking for,drama wise it was a good call to make him appear as his brothers,added more to the story.Hopefully there will be s3. 7/10 for me |

| @Leonhart93 Because the author designed two characters that are made for each other. A lot of romances just create a bland self insert to be paired with the most popular girl in the school because that is the fantasy of the readers/watchers. |

| I actually like this show. It reminds me of the pre-2015 type anime which is rare nowadays. I find the story appealing and the characters interesting. Hopefully this gets a season 3 as I read somewhere the manga is finished. |

| Slightly more disappointing than the first season, due in part to it wasting so much time on reused flashback scenes and episodes dedicated to fights that ultimately felt pointless to the plot. Not to say it's terrible, but I wasn't immersed in the slightest with how stiff the execution of this anime was. |
