| I think it's evident that Botan can't just go around town now without danger. I mean seriously, it appears is testing our main characters' wits and abilities to always be on their guard. Karakasa no Tsukumogami is proving to be one of the most dangerous characters we've seen in this franchise. |

| Hyoma's focus on her really was ill advised especially when Botan was there as well. But that really served to make the entrance of their allies that much more impactful. The fight against the umbrella though was pretty good especially the teamwork showed by the team. With the incap of their main bulwark the teams protective efforts sure ended up being severly compromised. If anything the situation sure has gotten complicated. |

| That scene with the Tsukumogami pulling up was FIRE. One of my fave Mononogatari episodes for sure. What they lack in animation quality they make up for in story in this show fr. Destroying botan’s estate was a good back up plan for whoever’s calling the shots for the umbrella tsukumogami. Even though she failed to directly capture Botan, now that the barrier is gone it’s going to be really difficult to protect her. We also see how outclassed Hyoma was by that Tsukumogami. If he’s really going to protect her and avenge his siblings, he’s got to get stronger mentally and physically |

| everyone on the roof looked pretty cool. the battles would go so much harder if the animation was better, but alas. could still feel the tension though, the bgm helps convey that pretty well. |

| Another great episode and it looks like the Paper Umbrella is working with others as Kushige's barrier was demolished by another tsukumogami or a group of them leaving Botan vulnerable. I'm thinking that the Paper Umbrella that was captured was not the same tsukumogami that killed Hyoma's siblings but part of a group that's working together. |

It was, I loved it too!!! I don't think this will be the end for the paper umbrella tsukumogami though, it was waaay too strong and it seemed too easy |
| The character designs and character animation really fell off the side of the cliff this episode, particularly during the aftermath of the battle. |
| what an intense episode, i guess the revenge is put off for a bit and now botan has become an even greater liability, i presume a lot of people are going to be coming after her. |

| the situation is getting messier by the second! i hope more hype fights incoming! even with enraged/angered Kunato Hyouma, he doesn't seem to be that strong compared to high level tsukumogami huh... 5/5. |

| They hyped up Hyoma a fight and he ended up doing nothing, very nice. Botan's tsukumogami squad fight was good though and damn they got Kushige. Botan can't act freely anymore. She was about to say something to Hyoma too. |

| Hyoma vs. the Paper Umbrella tsukumogami, this is not the one that he faced before when he was young, but rather, a variation of it. And as expected, the Botan tsukumogami household, together as the Nagatsuki Bridal Trousseau all come face to face with her, bearing the heavy responsibility to protect Botan. With the paper umbrella tsukumogami subdued and the Bureau taking care of it, it feels too easy of its defeat. And once Botan was taken hostage by spirit, the entire plot changes as its main objective is Kushige and breaking the Nagatsuki household's barrier. A sacrifice so great to put Botan's life in danger of extracting the marebito within her, and now that that protection is gone, strict supervision is needed on her. Fun and games are over, now it's serious business. |

| The battles in this anime are so dull and devoid of any entertainment value, to the point where I wonder why this anime even has them. At least the plot itself is more interesting. |

| What a great episode, things are really kickin off and we are getting a bit deeper into the lore with Kushige and the land of the dead, I love it. Also great action this episode. |

| It's sad because at some point, this kind of story is going to disgust me. Everything was predictable, absolutely everything that was happening in this episode was ultra predictable but after seeing, watching, reading so many stories. I realize that I'm able to predict what's going to happen next and it's tiring and not very interesting (Just like a lot of people here I imagine). I'm the only one who thinks it's a bit annoying that Botan is so useless. It's sad, but here she's really seen as the girl to protect at all costs. Of course, I understand that she hasn't had much luck in her life, and she's not trained for it, but in the context of the story here, it would have been great if she'd been useful. |
