What would be the very last anime you watch before you die?

Let's say you were given the time to finish 1 anime before you inevitably die, what anime would it be and why? Would it be your absolute favorite anime, or maybe something you've never seen before? Maybe you would pick something like One Piece to prolong your life for as long as possible.

Let me know below! :)

I would probably watch either steins;gate or death parade.

steins;gate is my favourite, but I feel like death parade would be more fitting for the scenario.

86 so I can die happy after seeing the end.

Millennium Actress probably. It's a movie rather than a series so it wouldn't exactly buy me much more time, but I love Satoshi Kon, and the theme and ending would get me in a good death mindset. (If that can even be a thing?)
What have you done today to deserve your eyes?

Still haven't seen the third season of Honzuki, one of my favs, but it's so short, I think I would just finish Kaleido Star, it's a solid 9/10 so no big difference. Picking something I haven't seen is too risky.

I would watch Spirited Away as it was the first anime I watched and it would be nice to end it the way it started.

Off with JD's Balls.

Either Urusei Yatsura (81) or Daa! Daa! Daa!

They're both my favorite animes, but are pretty big timesinks, especially the former. Might as well end things off with something I already enjoy and have our ends meet.

I assume you need to watch it in one sitting, otherwise you could put in on hold forever. In that case I would probably not choose an anime with over 100 episodes. I mean sure you could extend your life but the longer it takes the more anxiety you will get. I would prefer something short that feels good when it ends like Your Name.

The longest anime (Sazae-san with 2000+ episodes), and only if i can ignore it entirely and spend time together instead with my loved one.

2000+ episodes non-stop streaming = 833+ hours = 35+ days

Gintama for sure, not only would it be long and enjoyable, but the whole point of that show is to live your life to the fullest and without any regrets. Would be amazing to hear that message before I died (assuming I lived a good life)

I believe that watching 1200 episodes of One Piece is worse than dying.
If you're a fanboy, please don't waste my time.

Watch more movies, please.

Perhaps, this is hell.

Haibane Renmei or Mushishi. The first one would help me accept the inevitable, the latter would make me ponder about the myterious and beautiful nature of existence the last time.

Probably just my favorite anime like Bastard!!, Fruits Basket, or Inuyasha. If I can do stuff with my life outside of watching the anime then definitely Sazae-san. After all I still need to overthrow every single government and replace them all with a centralized Waffle government (I don't know what that means either but it still needs to happen).
Go read Berserk and One Piece they're the best thing ever

@tchitchouan my man..
That's the obvious answer..
I saw the biographical movie about the author of sazae-San, but not every episode of sazae San..
So of course I'll choose sazae San to buy as much time as I can.. Haha.

there's 3 that come to mind....im either watching ALL of the dragonball franchise(all episodes and all movies), the ENTIRE pokemon franchise(all episodes+movies) these would be purely because of the episode/movie count and would prolong my life for a little while...or the Highschool DxD franchise(episodes+OVA's) because why tf not lol

Since I already left an answer for a newer incarnation of this question, I'll just quote it here.

Daviljoe193 said:
Probably Touch: Darting out is a no-no! (Yes, I translated the title myself, no it's probably not accurate) or La Rose de Versailles, since they're both lost media. I know that one day, Touch: Darting out is a no-no! will eventually get preserved and uploaded to the usual torrent site, but that sure as hell ain't happening anytime soon. Hell, I STILL see it go on auction occasionally, and there are enough images out there to prove that it's not particularly rare either. It's just undesirable, which is why nobody has popped a digitized copy of the reel online as of yet.
