Hi. I read your country not only banned lolicon, they banned ecchi/hentai of "underage" characters along with even just a simple naked animated version of them is illegal, is that true? I'm pretty sure these dumb laws are unenforceable cuz its literally impossible to monitor people online in the first place besides they have to ban most Anime/manga at the same time (are they going to arrest people who just watch these shows now? lol) due its quite common to found that lol. I don't even know any cases of people who got arrested solely due to possesion of it even in fucking Australia where its supposed to be the country with the most harsh laws against it, that's why I think nothing going to happen at the end. Here some feminists pull out DBZ/DBS from TV (which no one watch series on TV) but they didn't do much more than that.

omgg! really?? Tamagotchi V3 is my favorite version! I have a lot of them, even my first Tamagotchi too, it was a yellow with pinkish dots V3. It's makes me really happy know that you still have it in good conditions <3 take good care of it! and is a nice return to the nostalgia of the past .ೃ࿔

Hey there! The experience has been great, I have really loved my time here. All the people I've been able to meet, the culture I've been able to experience, the food, and obviously the fun anime stuff too. I'll be heading back home next April after 8 years and I will certainly treasure all of my memories and experiences from here for the rest of my life :D I live pretty much out in the middle of nowhere in Kyushu so I bet my experience is very different than the majority of foreigners who come to teach. I'm thankful of where I ended up, nice and relaxing with beautiful nature everywhere you look, but also only about an hour and a half drive from the city if I wanna shop or catch a movie (I've got a car).

don't worry, English is my second language too. I like to think I'm pretty good, but still!

I mean it as it's experimental and weird in it's every aspect, from art, to directing, to pacing, to story telling, dialogue and everything. it's a show that blurs the line between what is left for interpretation, and what is a hidden detail that you have to notice. it presents so many themes and ideas in super interesting ways. you could write a philosophy essay on basically all of the episodes.

it's a show that wants you to read into it. it has depth on it's own, but the true magic of it is how it leaves enough space for you to create your own much bigger depth out of it. like i said, it blends details, and plot points that are actually there, and things that were for left for interpretation perfectly.

which means you can watch it 10 times, every time understand it more, but still not know what is exactly done on purpose, and what is something that was from your own interpretation.

I would say you have to go into it wanting to read into it and understand it. the central mysteries have pretty straight forward answers, but If you go in expecting everything to be like that, you won't enjoy it.

so is it pretentious?

depends on what you mean by that. do you mean doing weird shit just for the sake of doing it? then no it's not pretentious, the show has been carefully crafted, nothing is done just because it's weird.

if you mean it's an art house kind of show? then yeah it is, and I think it's the best one you can find, at least out of the few that I have seen
