Damn, I feel like this season's fights especially those involving Suletta are more impactful, exciting, and has higher stakes.

Speaking of Suletta, she still had flashbacks about what she did at the end of season 1's finale. It was incredible that she was able to fight under all that pressure tbh. Hell, I'd say this episode pushed Suletta to her limits and I bet she'll face even tougher challenges ahead.

RIP Sophie.......... You deserve a better life.

By this episode, we can confirm now that Suletta Mercury ≠ Ericht Samaya. hahaha..... They did it. Those fanbase theories are right all along. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Honestly, I really feel bad for Suletta when she has been deceived by her what-so-called mother the whole time.

Incoming Rita memes.

I have been looking into the dangerous duels for some time now.

In the school duels, they use green beams. In war, they use either purple, blue or yellow beams.
Now, it has been revealed that the school only allows green beams as they are weaker and do not damage the space colony or damages the cockpit. In other words, cockpits are made to be beam-resistant to green beams to avoid killing the pilot in case the beam hits the cockpit.

The GUND bits from Sophie is similar to the one in After War Gundam X. Well, Jamill Nate did .......

Will continue to monitor the technology in Witch From Mercury.

A lot of story is wrapped up around aerial, the truth said by prospera at the end of the episode about aerial was really shocking. This series is really improving as the episodes goes on.

One thing I find interesting is that Elan Five is unwilling to go into Phermet Score. With how the opening is, I wonder if Elan Four will resurface if he does. if that's true, it's a clear misdirection from the staff.

Sophie is death. I don't hate her and I think I feel a bit melancholic. Everyone bruise with death in war anyway. Now, It will be funny if she turns out to be alive inside her Gundam though. Then they can merge the two Lfrith and be on par with Suletta.

Diversion from Shadiq kidnapping his father. also, there's probably other reason that's unstated. like, with how Gundam was affiliated with Earth terrorist group, they can use it to start Earth vs Space war. Just my guess though.

yesssss aERIal theory confirmed

Both the Earthian-Spacian conflict subplot and the transhumanist implications of Ericht, Aerial and Quiet Zero got plentiful movement in this episode. Seeing as Earth House were detained, we'll be out of the school and duelling setting very soon.

Quiet zero's aims sure are high ones but one that i think that a lot of her peers would disagree with. After all it'll be bad for business. For those that were born on earth being able to attend a school such as theirs is a dream come true. Elan really has become quite the creep. The rumble arena sure featured the best of the pilots within each house. Sophia and Norea sure made quite the entrance into the arena not to mention turning it from a fun event into a full scale terrorist attack. Perfect cover for Shaddiq's plan though have to say. Overall an excellent ep that featured a great balance of action and some pretty heavy revelations narratively as well. With the crown one being Aeria's true nature and the role Suletta plays in it as well.

That revel hit harder then i thought it would. Twisted me on the inside.
I've always seen Gundams as these machines that have a personality and character, Like a great spaceship that has a history but this is next level stuff. Knowing what's inside of ariel now. even if the exact details are vague really puts a soul and a sense of self into ariel.

I feel like I should have more too say about this, due to all the events that transpired this episode, but until the second half of this episode, I wasn't all that invested in this season yet, and I'm still not sold. On one hand, I'm glad they changed up the tone a bit, but I feel Sophie and Norea interfering at the rumble feels a little, out of place, since I wonder if they actually thought they would both get out of there alive, guess they underestimated Aerial. How much power does Shaddiq have, and how has no one been able to stop him? It feels all too easy for him. The reveal about Eri was certainly not surprising either, and if you have no idea who Ericht Samaya is, please watch the prologue, if you haven't.

Anyways, I do wish this felt more shocking and shaking, but this kind of stuff didn't have nearly as much impact as the Suletta "tomato" scene in the Season 1 finale, and by all accounts, this reveal should have way more impact than this, but it doesn't. It doesn't mean the show is terrible in my eyes though, I do like the tone shift, but man, this type of tone should have been established sooner.

The Jeturk younger brother didn't died out of pity. Sophie could had very well used the minigun while punching.

Here I am thinking  that Suletta had made peace about the battle for life thing, after season 1.

So, the theories were true, Eri is Aerial, though it should have been obvious, given the names being so similar, but nonetheless, it's sad that Sophie died, I wish she had gotten more to her, she definitely looked like she was raised to fight...whether by her own will or not, Suletta's okasa definitely gave off that villain vibe before, but now it's pretty much confirmed that she is the villain, she's using Suletta for her own benefit, and it's definitely working.
Just an avid anime watcher of 18 years, not much else I could say about myself (that I don't want to reveal, of course, just ask if you wanna know more!)

War brings out the worst in people for reasons important to them. Prospera turned into a true witch, Shaddiq the Kingpin while mere pawns like Sophie and Norea went primal. RIP Sophie, it was short but she had her priorities straight.

Now that we know Aerial's truth. Only need is to figure out who really is Suletta truly. Also Elan 0 seems to be a quirky one. Prolly the Joker card of the series.

P.S We need Bob back ASAP

It's getting crazier every episode... I love this show so much!

Alone by how many scheming villains/anti-heroes this show has. Shaddiq, Elan 5, Peil Technologies, Norea, Prospera...possibly even Lauda, Ericht and Delling.
And the only cackling villain, Sophie, has bit the dust. In the end, she was mad beyond redemption, but also just a traumatized child...

Now for the the Mercury/Samaya family. So Eri is actually a part of Aerial. And while this sounds cruel at first, I'm still gonna defend Prospera here, to an extend. Because it seems Eri is still very much concious and has her own will. She's not Suletta's assistant. She's not Aerial's engine. She was ready to kill Sophie here, whether Suletta likes it or not! And there is the preview story (Read this if you haven't!) that's completly from (A)Eri(al)'s perspective. This also had a "dialogue" between Eri and Prospera, where the former said she would go take revenge with her mother, but doesn't want to get Suletta involved.
And overall, this opens more questions than it awnsers. What caused Prospera/Elnora and Eri to execute this transformation? Is it truly for a greater good? Is Suletta a normal human? She can "talk" to Eri after all. Can Prospera do that too? I hope there will be a big flashback soon about Elnora and Eri arriving at mercury and how they moved on from the Prologue's incident.

Oh, and Chuchu got interesting development too! Seems like the earth students get some much-needed development now.

The rug has just been pulled out from under the story, all the pieces are on the board now. The terrorists from the plant attack at the end of last season have made their big move in the open. During a normal school battle they just outright showed up in their same mobile suits from the attack. Talk about brazenly not caring about hiding anymore. I thought those two girls would try to he undercover for longer than a single episode. But no they straight up just showed themselves almost right away. Now all the spectators at the school saw this happen. They can't cover it up like the plant attack this has tons of public witnesses. Nearly killing Lauda and wrecking the arena right away. Suletta having to keep back the wild one all the way out into space. Im glad that the truth about Aerial was revealed to us here. Double down on the crazy revelations in a single episode I like it. Prospera unveiling that her other daughter is actually Aerial itself. Which of course makes sense back when Suletta was talking to Aerial and calling her family. I wonder how things will change now that there's no more major secrets.

That was fucking awesome. Now that we know Eri IS Aerial, does that mean the reason why Suletta isn't affected by the curse is because it's Eri that's basically doing the whole thing?

Suletta almost breaking from her mom's brainwashing but then 'move forward, you gain two' prevents her from seeing the truth. Holy shit the plot thickens.

I disliked Elan and was never fond of Shaddiq. But maybe Elan has at least one redeeming quality to him. While Shaddiq, I just don't want to hear anything from him.

Wonder what Prospera means by "Rewrite the world to make Eri Happy" You would think that a world without war or conflict fits the bill quite well, but thats not what Prospera is after. Kinda reminds me of NGE's human instrumentality project.
Suletta is just piling on one delusion after another, I feel like she is going to break pretty soon. What i find interesting though is how nonchalant Eri's soul was about killing Sophie despite Suletta pleading not to, does she not feel any empathy/still has the mind of a 4 year old/wanted to talk with someone through a data storm etc? So many questions.

We also got some interesting information regarding data storms; they don't just kill the human host but create a dense spatial network which enables communication it seems, like the Innovators in Gundam 00 and to interface with this network you need a permet link but then how do Suletta and Eri communicate?

from what context we got in S1, spacian corporations polluted the earth and took earth's resources to build their space habitats. They constantly make life on earth worse for their own benefit. The earthen terrorists want to destroy the corporations so that they leave earth alone or force them to pay to restore the earth to a better state.
