| For some people the animation itself can be a draw compared to the manga since some scenes may be more impactful in motion, or the animation for said series may have many moments of impressive animation that just make it super satisfying to watch compared to the source material. For some people the audio and audio design may also be a draw to an anime over the manga with elements like voice acting and music enhancing certain moments, or in some cases it can be easier to listen to audio compared to reading for some people (for example my gf cannot read at a reasonable pace so she watches the anime dubbed compared to reading the manga or watching subtitled). Theres many different factors to it really. |

| The only source I enjoy more is video game/visual novels. I'll still read the occasional manga, especially if there's no anime adaptation yet and I see it's scored highly or heard about it. I'm a very visual person and while manga can have some detailed panels, often it gets very cluttered with too much dialogue and black and white makes it seem a little dull to me. Sure manhwa may be a little better, but I also prefer to get a mix of all worlds of visual and auditory. Seeing the scenes animated, hearing voices and music is a more enjoyable experience to me than reading. |

| I'm not a visual novel or light novel buff. So manga is my only option. Issue is, like the other two it requires commitment. Anime to me, doesn't require as much commitment. So there's my pussy ass excuse. |
