| Nice, I was worried that it was going to make the finale into a movie but thank you god they stayed to the tv series format. I would guess this final season may only be 8 episodes since there are only like 2 vols left to adapt right? |

| With this final (should be final) addition, this will end with 100 total episodes of the series. I think it will be over for good. Maybe a movie or something IF things don't wrap up in this PT3. (Not a manga reader so I could be completely wrong about it this wrapping up) |

| This is the problem with split cours. Just take a look at the recent 86. Because of the 1 season gap, no one could tell if it was split or a 2nd season. Even the studio went back and forth on how to title it. Then they didn't finish on time and had to air the final 2 episodes a season/3 months later. That whole format was considered one season by the studio... not Part 1, Part 2, OVA or something. Now we have SnK: Final Season, but because of the recent-ish trend with split cours, any show can get away with calling something "One Season" regardless of how many actual seasons it is airing. They never said it would only be 2 parts, which was cause for suspicion from the beginning. At least this is based on source material that has ending! Can you imaging if it was an anime only show? God only knows how many Parts this season would be. |

| Wait, I'm confused. I am yet to watch it as I was waiting for it end and marathon it, I didn't even finish the manga (thou, I know how it ends), but why a new season? Shouldn't this have ended? I mean, didn't a Rumbling happen in the anime? What's left after that? A chapter or two? That's basically an episode... two if you drag it on. How are they building out a new season of what was left, and why was this called the final season in the first place? All the interviews made it clear that it's ended. Jesus Christ ... September 2023? Is WWIII going to start before I see the final of this anime? |
