| I’m fine with almost any thread, as long as it’s not about isekai and hentai, since those seem to be the most spammed/repetitive topics on AD. Also, troll/bait threads that provoke others, as well as the “should I watch this? Is this worth it?” type of threads can be a bit obnoxious as well. I also find the questionnaire threads to be really fun, but those are quite rare unfortunately. |

| Hands down the worst threads on here are the deliberately inflammatory fringe opinion hate threads. Every time I check MAL there's always something like "here's why this highly rated and extremely popular show fucking sucks" full of inane bullshittery that reveals why all fifty people arguing in the thread are completely devoid of critical thinking skills. And of course like, people are entitled to have separate opinions on stuff and voice their preferences, but the fact that these threads are like never-ending and there's so much negativity is tiring. Like don't people get tired of hating on things all the time?? I hate Sword Art Online but I don't make threads about it to complain or argue with people who like it. There's no point in stirring that pot because nobody involved is gonna change their opinion. I know it's hypocritical to get all uppity and complain but the fact that these forums are constantly stewing in a toxic sludge of bad faith is just genuinely so annoying. Sometimes it feels like nobody cares about fostering an environment where meaningful discussion can take place. Complaining all the time is a habit that seems to get rewarded on here and it's difficult not to succumb to it. I'd literally rather see hentai/ecchi threads because at least then the perverts are talking about stuff they like. |

| I voted ecchi/degenerate threads. It's not that I hate them all, but I'm having flashbacks of two+ years of alsmot daily IPE threads, and I can say without a doubt they're the most garbage, cringe-inducing, sad things I've ever read on a forum. |
