| I have to disagree with the common opinion about this episode. The whole Death Note-y thing went on too long and became tired near the end. But this was still friggin hilarious and arguably the pinnacle of Gintama's toilet humor. 10/10 |

| I should have expected something like this from Gintama XDD the ultimate battle was just them stuck in the toilets because they have no toilet paper left, but seriously the end with the pictures and Kondo's ass exploding in blood because of the sandpaper really made me cry because it was so hilarious |

| ok, for once i was prepared for this episode because when i read the deserved acclaim for the 25th after watching it in person, this too was costantly referenced as one of the funniest ever made even outside of Gintama. And... to be fair... 100% honest... it didn't disappoint and it was also perfect to counterbalance the seriousness of the arc i liked especially Toujou being all smug about having trapped Kondo and Gintoki but also being hoisted with his own petard himself because of that broken egg from before. And of course, "three episodes to take a dump?" Or those speeches about Yamcha and Tenshinan. Or Gintoki becoming a tsundere dating sim videogame character. And then those photos appeared, and turned out to be questionable alternatives to the sandpaper. Kondo, good for you, but i believe Tae won't stay with you anyway. Or, outside of the real main plot, Hijikata going "maybe i should quit smoking" and immediately lighting up another cig. Still prefer the nabe shogun episode, but this is almost up there. |
