| How long a quote should be to be considered to be a proper quote? Just asking because "Nyanpasu!" is the only one that has occured to me. Not much, I know, but that is not just a simple quote but a whole philosopy of life. |

I don't fully memorize them as some are too long to commit to memory. But I do remember the underlying tone of what it's trying to say or my interpretation of it. For example if I want to prove that history is written by the victors I will remember Doflamingo's quote on justice Also, people die if they are killed |

| I remember some specific quotes that really resonated with me. Or just ones I enjoyed in the moment, sometimes. It's not intentional, but like getting a song stuck in my head, the words just stay there. I also sometimes will save quotes that I like, but memorizing them is something more involuntary. It's the same as highlighting certain passages when I'm reading e-books, or taking screenshots of manga panels I really like. And then sometimes those words will come to mind. |
