| Can anyone really listen to music and read at the same time? |
| I like to have some background noise when reading I'll even put rain sounds sometimes. Reading in pure silence gets me sleepy easily |

| If I'm doing it for educational purposes then I prefer the place where I'm reading to be totally quite no sound at all to distract thus I get the highest concentration to focus but a chill lofi beat in the background will not do any harm so I'm fine with a chill music too |

| yeah some sort of fitting background music. Like some sci fi or dark fantasy theme songs. I tend to just use playlists I find on spotify and skip a lot. I definitely dont have the sort of music on while reading which I would listen to usually. I think I have met (someone like) you just recently. |

| Yes and I listen to everything from classical music, dubstep, hardbass, electronic, pop etc. and also I can't do anything in silence (while writing it I am listening to hardbass raz raz raz x) ), the only times when I am not listening to music is when I am sleeping, listening to lecture/lessons in university, talking with anybody and any water sports like swimming/windsurfing etc. as I don't have a waterproof case for my phone to listen music. (in middle-school I used to go to sleep with headphones and 50% volume music on) I love your music choice, I would also recommend for reading those songs: |

| I sometimes do that when i'm reading something that could entertains me. Reading a manga or a novel for example. To me, the song i picked could set the mood for the things that i read. Yes, I can read and listen to music at the same time. |

| There is a weird thing about me. I do work, homework, writing and a lot of other things while listening to music. It helps me concentrate and makes it all feel less boring and tedious. It's also some kind of motivation, but when it comes to reading, I just get distracted. I just can't. I find myself reading the page over and over again without really understanding shit. My brain multitasks with the other combinations, but not with the reading while listening to music one. |

| my brain filter our one of the wtwo so i'm either listening to music or reading but it can help me focus for some odd reasons, i used to listen to music while doing tests onlyne for school during dad because i couldn't focus on them and i found it worked for focusing on them, but i never tried to read a book whie listening to music,i did it wth manga and if its an aciton scene i can if its dialouge i tend to filter out one of them, the same goes with thoughts, i either imagine somehting ina music video style while listening to music or think at something else and miss the song so i need to rewind |
