| Wow. Just when I thought the highlight of the episode was his epic win, it ends on that high note. :D This anime makes me excited like no other. The stakes feel real, the enemies feel real and Ippo is one of the most likeable main characters ever! The OST, the animation, everything is almost flawless! If the series keeps up with it, this easily has 10/10 potential. |

| They had a great fight and even though Ippo won, it was an unexpected outcome with a nail-biting build-up because of how close both of them were to losing. Oda lost the fight but his perseverance had paid off and his passion was reignited by his opponent even brighter than ever before. I was trying so hard to not tear up when his coach told him to prepare for training the next day ♡ Ippo became the center of attention at Club Sugar Ray and he even got to show off his magnum dong to his first lady fans thanks to an envious Takamura. |
