| Epic opening sequence. I was curious if they would actually make MaiMai a normal member as I couldn't think of a way it would work probably but it looks like it was a one time performance from here. Hikari E was very nice. |

The only reason for this quick introduction and goodbye is probably to make MaiMai an important character at the climax of the series, or something like that (hope they stick to Chekov's gun law) Hopefully the rest of the episodes finally stop with the filler kind of episodes and give us substantial background info on Yugiri & Tae that seem to be the most influential characters for the group This sums up my thoughts exactly. Normally I feel like they don't really do fanservice but here it was more evident. The story was also predicable and nothing really new came out of it so I wasn't a big fan; it seemed pretty pointless. We have a lot to look forward to with next week's episode it's just unfortunate they basically wasted this episode with filler. |
| Felt like this episode improved zero thing on the series as a whole because it was so random and out of nowhere to introduce a girl that came and gone in a single episode. Like, who actually cares about her? Other than being voiced by Hanakana, this episode was a filler and you can't convince me otherwise. Take the first 20 minutes out and you literally missed nothing. The only real deal is the reporter discovered their deaths. Dull and uninteresting episode. This second season kind of lost its charm for me. Story doesn't feel that captivating compared to first season's. |

| A mixed bag of an episode. I think I liked Maimai as a character, although I feel they brought her in too strong. I get why they did it - because she was only gonna be in the group for an episode - but that in itself was a weird choice. Why introduce a new character to join the group an quit all in the same episode? What was the point? The manager was on fire in this episode after a couple of duds the past few episodes, which was food to see. |
| People are really upset over a fun episode with some funny moments in it. I guess you can't please everyone. I thought it was a good episode overall. We know Kotaro did have some kind of connection to Sakura but it was more evident when she was explaining her training in high school and it cut to the scene of Kotaro looking into an empty room. Tae and Saki eyeing up the cooking class was pretty funny and it was nice to see the girls check out a few things during the festival. The one upsetting part was during the ending they Just showed a full screen picture of Tae. So if they plan on wrapping this show up this season we'll have a two part of Yuugiri's backstory (FINALLY) hopefully an episode dedicated to Tae and then the last Two episodes based around their revenge. Though i'd like to see them push it to a season three. |

| Well... unless MaiMai becomes relevant to the plot later on, this week's episode ended up being another filler. Still a quite entertaining one tho. Anyways, looking forward to Yuugiri's backstory next week. |

| Maimai came in like a hurricane and she really shook things up within Franchouchou. One episode appearance and I’m actually going to really miss her! Kotaro’s reaction at the beginning was beyond hilarious 😆 Uh oh... the journalist is still looking into the girls identities and he’s got solid proof now that they idols/ celebrities who have died. I still can’t tell if he’ll take it public or not |

| Man, that intro made my jaw drop, it's exactly like the intro to the very first episode of the show with Sakura. Even brought back that metal soundtrack, I thought Kotaro killed a person lmao. That was a really great episode, we only first met Maimai this episode but I love her already. She's cute, her personality's entertaining, got some boing boings and she's voiced by Kana Hanazawa. Didn't expect that one girl cowering in the crowd of episode 1 while they were all fighting to become the main focus of an episode. She did awesome and her singing the season 1 ED was great, sad to see her go, wouldn't have mind if she actually joined permanently. Kinda hoping she dies so she can join lmao. Kotaro using his charms again I see. Seeing Kotaro reminisce about Sakura while in the school is pretty sad, Maimai also probably reminded him of Sakura. Finally! We are getting that Yuugiri backstory next episode and it's part one!? Journalist dude is also almost complete with his investigation, things are about to get spicy. |

| I was gonna say it's a bold move to introduce a new character as part of the main cast so late in the game. That's why as soon as she was given the opportunity to speak on stage I thought "she's about to retire isn't she..." yup. Still it was a fun experience. More importantly we finally get a Yugiri episode next week. She really needs it. |
| I have mixed feelings about this episode. It was funny and heartfelt but just felt unneeded.. however at the same time I feel like they’ll run into trouble because of MaiMai down the line. Perhaps she could accidentally leak the secret? Who knows. All in all an OK episode... I’m really excited to see what happens with the guy who seems to be researching them all. |
I loved the episode since the beginning, because of the surprisely reference to HighSchool of The Dead (the music, the color scheme, the blood marks), I recognized immediately (the ones that watched HOTD, I'm not crazy, right? Just watch again the firsts minutes of the episode and the HOTD opening). I love the enterily episode but this reference caught my attention. I don't remember if some reference to HOTD has appeared on Zonbieland Saga before. I didn't read all the posts here, so I don't know if someone else comment about this. |

| @Takemikazuschi To me, the connection between Maimi and the "0" sheet is anyone's guess. It could be coincidence for all I know. But her placing the microphone on the stage reminds me of Yamaguchi Momoe's final act at her Budokan farewell concert on October 5th, 1980. |

An it's in color no less! I can't believe we are finally going to see Yugiri-centered episode. She was underdeveloped for 1,5 seasons. |

| ... Now that's a throwback.. Hm.. MAL should add this girl Maimai as some kind of character.. Either main or supporting.. Either way, she's not now in the list of characters at all.. Isn't that last season's ending song?.. Well, it's understandable, why she leaves for anime meta reasons.. They wouldn't be able to make more crazy concerts like that in episode 4, where they all got crazy with special effects and stuff due to them being affected to electricity.. It could hinder the zombie element part.. I hope we'll still see this girl more in the future, though.. |
