| Maybe people are afraid of the near anarchy that is the JoJo fashion. On part 3, I though it dragged on, but I reckon that's because I was over eager to be introduced to that crazy noisy bizarre town. Part 3 is heavy on meme compatible comedy, and I think that gives it charm. The themes and genres shift between parts, so I don't find it very surprising to see opinions all over the place. |

| I don't hate on Jojo but I just couldn't really get into it after Joseph. I watched all of Stardust Crusaders but that took me like 2 years of watching it on and off. I got like halfway through Diamond is Unbreakable but dropped it because I found it incredibly boring. |

| In my own opinion Part 4 > Part 3 > Part 2 > Part 5 > Part 1 As for why people hate JoJo, it's probably because it's pretty... "unique" I guess. I can totally see how someone couldn't like Araki's sense of humor or some of the Stand powers, or the "villain of the week" format. Plus part 1 is really divisive and probably pretty hard for some people to sit through. I actually liked part 1 but still... There's probably also a small minority who just hate JoJo because it's popular as with every other popular series. |

| Jojo is incredibly unique can't take that away from it. Part 4 IMO is the best part and then Part 2 both are just fun. Part 1 was really generic and kind of boring but it was quick and looking bad it was a nice introduction to the series. Part 3 started strong but became a long waste of time honestly I hated 2 episodes for a single fight that was boring in the first place. And now for what I'm about to say I might get shut for but whatever part 5 is by far the worst part. |

| To answer the question in the title: a mixture of JoJo not being for everyone and a loud minority of the fanbase being obnoxious as fuck. Let's be real, JJBA is an incredibly weird series that inspires fanatical love in those that get into it, and that spells trouble if one has weak self control. Now for the part ranking that everyone is doing for some reason, imo: part 5 > part 1 > part 8 > part 2 > part 7 > part 4 > part 3 > part 6 (at least for now) |

| Just completed jojo it would go like this for me: Part 3 > Part 4 > Part 5 > Part 2 > Part 1 Characters in part 3 were gold, Part 4 had some great moments and the characters were good/decent, Part 5 was ok, didn't really feel much for the characters(I still gave it an 8, generously), but it was still better than part 2 and part 1. |

| Watched Jojo two years ago and IMO it just feels very inconsistent. Certain parts are just kinda repetetive and mediocre, some parts like 2 and 7 are very good, and some parts like 1 and 6 are downright boring and a chore to watch/read. It also has a very annoying fanbase My rankings go as follows 7 > 2 > 8 > 4 > 3 > 6 > 1 |
