| I found this first episode really entertaining. I think the character designs would sway some people off from this show, but I actually like it and it fits the show in my opinion. The SHAFT-NisiOisin combo is a match made in heaven. |

| im not sure what i think about it all yet, I think when I see the next episodes its gonna determine whether I love it or hate it cause I don't think they'll be anything in between, just a hunch lmao but still stan pretty boys doing pretty things, the story is nothing groundbreaking but the visuals are stunning and the characters are likable so it was an okay start |
| NisiOisiN + Shaft + Shinbou Akiyuki = good shit. Great first episode, this is like a lighter Monogatari, I like it. And this time we got a whole bunch of husbandos instead of waifus. I am already really liking Mayumi, her personality is great and she's voiced by Maaya Sakamoto! Out of the pretty boys, Michiru is the one I really like the most so far because of his talk with Mayumi. Hyota really likes showing off his legs lmao, well can't blame him, those are indeed some beautiful legs. I wonder how Mayumi is gonna be part of the pretty boys after her request is finished. Well, based on that intro she cut her hair so maybe she'll become one of them, a pretty boy detective. Looking forward to the next episode! Also love the three rules lmao 1. Be pretty 2. Be a boy 3. Be a detective I guess Mayumi is gonna be breaking one of those rules. |

| It was quite interesting. I like their theme of aestheticism. The moment Hyouta started speaking it hit me, so cute. It's been a while I heard Shougo Yano in another anime. This character is really similar to Reo, another character that he voiced in Paradox Live. Really like that ED. Something that will make you vibe along with it. |

| Wow, this was indeed beautiful. The visuals are out of this world And interesting story/concept/characters as well. One of the best first episodes I’ve recently watched Hopefully 24 episodes (or at least split cour). Shaft hasn’t really been working on many shows, in fact almost none, so yeah, let’s hope for the best. |

| Pretty much what we all expected, Monogatari for the female demographic, lots of dialogues and very impressive and pretty visuals, and I guess husbandos for the female audience. From the cover visual it seemed like Sousaku was gonna be the gayest looking boy, but the blonde shota ended up being the winner of that title. Mayumi is very pretty herself. "They solve problems they themselves are said to be the root of", really wanna see how the premise is executed, as Kubikiri Cycle didn't quite satisfied me on that regard. |

Whatever, even if it's not Voltaire who said that, this quote is still inextricably linked to him and it would be silly for such a show to start with an explanation how Voltaire actually never said that... I'm more bothered with the complete misinterpretation of the quote. Do not kill, but do not let live? Really? This is the complete opposite of what it means! Apart from that very nice first episode, I hope the girl finds the star in her own eye. |
| NISIOSIN, Shaft and Shinbou, the HOLY Trio, are back at it again!!! This was stunning. I knew this was gonna look beautiful, but I still was, once again, shocked with the production value of Shaft. This is peak modern anime visuals. I was scared some of the characters might be too overwhelming, or cringe, or uninteresting, but all my worries were put to rest with the first episode. This, Fumetsu no Anata e and Trigger's Dynazenon are making the season a blast for me already. Keep it up Shaft, keep it coming <3 |

| What is Haruhi doing here? Hahaha. When I heard Sakamoto, Maaya and then that setting, I was surely reminded of Ouran High School Host Club! But wow, I was pretty hesitant to watch this at first and was not even aware that this is from Shaft. Only in the middle of the episode where I kind of guess that it is from them after all that camera angle, the sparkles and the poses! I am pleasantly surprised! I hope it will continue being interesting until the end! |

| The animation for this is beautiful oh my god I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the visuals that hard. Ngl though the whole episode felt very...dreamlike and illusory, kinda felt like a hazy trip haha; the feeling faded away by the end of the episode but it felt pretty strong at first. Not saying that's a bad thing though, I just haven't watched anything like this so this is a first for me. Looking forward to see how this plays out! |

| The cute art makes it hard to read the subtitles.. like my eyes go up for often :D and they talk alot in this anime, it's pretty difficult to appreciate the art at same time without pausing >.< |

| The flashback was just unbelievably beautiful, if we had an episode of art that good I'd give it a 10/10 straight away regardless of the content. Outside of that though well another season of Shaft wasted on Nishio I guess. |
