This was kind of my favorite episode of the season. I thought every little story was the kind of stuff I want out of this series. For starters I liked the burgeoning Aoba/Nene and Momo/Naru rivalry. And while I still find Momo and Naru to be a bit of unnecessary conflict added to the mix. And thus far a little annoying in their characterization. There were things I really liked in their scenes this episode.

I liked the ending reveal that Momo's totally codependent on Naru. It almost paid off how pointless that cockroach diversion was. And I liked Naru deciding she didn't like Nene. Nene's reaction to her co workers cattiness was hilarious for starters. And it felt more purposeful and even understandable than Momo's jealous dislike of Aoba. Plus Nene deciding she's going to become a great programmer to validate Umiko's decision. Was the kind of yuri baiting cute female friendship stuff that's this shows bread and butter. What an unlikely but great pairing those two have turned into.

Which brings me to the third thing I loved in this episode. Yun and Hajime. They've had a few good scenes. But a lot of their appearances together have felt like they were coasting. IE they had enough big scenes last series. It's well established they're such good friends it's practically romantic. So their relationship is kind of pushed into the background. But this was great stuff that reminds you why you found the characters compelling together in the first place. And revealed honestly interesting details about their pasts that fit perfectly with our understanding of them. When did this series get so solid?

Oh damn, looks like there's a little competition going on now between Nene and Tsubame.

Hajime knows how to do proper fashion sense on her college days, while as to Yun, she's a college geek! Hazime long hair still also suits her! A change of image is nice once in a while!
wow looks like the two new ones Momiji & Tsubame are quite good already on their proffesion...as 3D artist for Momizi & programmer for Tsubame!
Nenecchi character development in this episode skyrocketed!
So many fan service pajamas for Momizi! but she's terrifyingly afraid of bugs! lolz!
looks like Tsubame got sick! lolz
5/5.

How nice to have discovered a hidden side of Hajime and Yun. Momo is also lazy like all the other girls in the cast, but I can not stand how Naru has treated Nene in a bit, even if she responds positively, I love her! After this episode, I am still more attached to the various characters. Adorable eyecatch.

Hey, I don't like these two new girls. In fact, I'd say they're ruining this season. When Naru talked down to Nene, that was basically the last straw for me.

Momo has nice Momos I guess. That's the only nice thing I can say about them.

Nice episode! We got some info on Hajime and Yun's childhood secrets. Naru was a bit of a bitch to Nene, not sure where that came from. I guess her and Momo are both a little bit prideful when it comes to their work.

...despite the fact that Momo wears "Usagi to Strawberry" pantsu xD

That is a fine ass for a 19 years old.

I'm not yet sure how I feel about the new girls...
I really didn't expect Tsubame to react like that. I mean I can understand what she meant, Nene shouldn't have been so smug (even if she didn't mean anything bad), but that seemed out of character for Tsubame.
Anyway, hopefully their little little conflict will be resolved in the next episode or two.

a weak episode except for the yun and hajime stuff at the beginning. yun's def my third girl after hifumi and shizuku. these new girls are pretty standoffish for new employees, and i thought naru was supposed to be nice wtf. i liked momo as a tsundere type who always gets foiled and never really fools anyone, but why tf is naru like that all of a sudden. Nene's reaction to that was really funny tho. I hope there's some kind of good reason.

Never have I been more disappointed in a character than with Narumi in this episode. I don't expect it to be in this season, but I hope she learns in time that programmers can come from anywhere. I, for one, have worked with programmers who were English and psychology majors.

Momiji going to work with her pajama top and hair messed was bold, but I guess it was rough the previous night with that bug incident. This episode focused more on the side characters especially the newbies, that was great because I love it when they are not left out.

The first part was very nice. Hajime and Yun looked so cute when they were younger! I really like them.
Looks like Nenecchi found a rival, too. Interesting. I bet Nenecchi will not disappoint Umiko. You can do it, Nenecchi! Don't let that mean girl beat you!
The part with Momiji and Naru had lots of unexpected fanservice, but it was cute, too. (The cockroach killing part was extremely inefficient, though. haha)
Momiji always dresses in style, but looks like she's very lazy when she's on her own. lol

"INSECT FIVE" HAHAHAHAHA!

I guess Hajime is the epitome of every otaku. Haha. Her scene with Yun was so hilarious.

*Yun wears glasses*
Hajime: They make you look smart!
Yun: Are you saying that I usually look dumb?
Me who's been wearing glasses for years: What the fuck? Hahaha.

Idk, maaan. Tsubame hurt Nenecchi's feelings like she was hired because she has connections, like how freaking dare you!?!? Are you saying she has no skills? Ohmygod that pissed me off so much.

That Momo fanservice, though. Lmao.

I was hoping Umiko would step in and make Naru realize how bitch she became toward Nenecchi. Guess I have to wait until next week.

Well, but it's actually true that those happy-go-lucky programmers are hell for others most of the time IRL as you have to correct everything they write and sometimes they even cause problems with their code. But yeah, Naru is a bitch sortof (not to mention she should be humble after she just joined), I agree. I felt kinda sorry for Nenecchi as she honestly loves this work while Narumi does it for the money and achievements mostly.

Secondary characters episode it was then. The first part with Yun and Hajime showing each other their childhood pics was pretty hillarious, and have to say Hajime was pretty hot with long hair.

Wonder how good Momo is after seeing her game, would be interesting if she surpassed them in skill very quickly (this would be problem for Aoba mainly as they still has to find common ground for their awkward conversations). After seeing the part with Nene I guess both Momiji and Narumi are the same in their competetiveness, well, I guess it make sense since they live together. But I still hope they would get close to each other better. They will probably learn to depend on each other in the team during some crisis soon.

Dunno about the second part though as it was clear fanservice mostly. But at least we learnt how they live together, bit developement for their characters (at least they are pretty nice to each other at home).
So it seems Momo is one big klutz then? She was so different at home than she was in her job.

"Someone buggin' you? We'll get them to buzz off!" Lame pun is lame.

Poor Hajime had to put on an act because she's embarrassed about who she is. She's also way cuter now than she was in that high school picture when she was "fashionable".

Why does anyone wear those swirly glasses? They're plain bizarre/seem to only exist for a gag.

"Lucky you...hired because you knew someone." Daaaaamn, Narumi turns out to be the bitch.

Honestly, I think both the new hires' attitudes clash with everyone else at Eagle Jump. I wouldn't hire either of them full time.

That was nice to see more Hajime and Yun development. To be honest they need more screentime especially Yun
Tsubami was kinda right but she still acted like envious bitch. Plus she doubted Umiko's management! Well, for this she must die.
Don't think i'm gonna like those two. I can tolerate Momo but i can't stand her girlfriend.

I just watch this episode lately, nene got shoot by our newbie character immediately. The point here is narumi does have the point but the approach is nearly unrealistically wrong or should I say one of those childish arguments on my childhood days. I experienced on making game but the conversation between co worker is not like this but ok. in the first place this is basically writen a bit childish. but new character must chill we know that you've work hard your ass but its the same again "other characters know what other characters feels" that's actually dumb.

I think Momo is kind of growing on me but at the same time Naru got way less likeable this episode; I get where she's coming from, but she could've tried to have a mature conversation with Nene instead of being an ass. Plus, while she did have a point, it's not wrong to do a job because it's fun, and while favouritism is bad, I don't really think that was the case here. People do get positions by meeting and getting to know others outside of job interviews; it's called networking. Sure, she had a friend there, but it's not like she had the final say. She came to the company after high school like Aoba, Momo and Naru (so it's not like they made an exception for Nene) and got hired since she had made connections there earlier which gave them faith in her potential. She might've made it come across the wrong way, and Aoba did play a role in her initial exposure to the company, but the trust she built and hard work she put in to get to that point were her's alone.

At least Hajime and Yun were pretty great. Naru made this one of the weakest episodes of the series imo, but it was still pretty good. 7/10

Hajime x Yun. <3 They are so cute together. It was interesting to learn more about their backstories.

Those red glasses were pretty hilarious. :P

I loved to see hajime with long hair.

Narumi and Momo had an argument. I kinda understand what Narumi said, but she was still a little too harsh on Momo.

Nice Momo fanservice. I didn't imagine her boobs to be that big. :o

It's interesting to see the juxtaposition between Naru and Momo's situations. They have a bit of a superiority and inferiority complex respectively. Naru initially got along well with others, but she feels superior to Nene and is starting to cause friction. Momo initially is awkward around everyone and feels inferior to Aoba but last episode showed a bit of opening up. I fully expect Momo to become more friendly with everyone but idk if Naru will cause more issues.

Funny how Momo and Narumi seemed so adamant about taking on Aoba and Nene, and then we see them get terrified of a cockroach, plus Narumi fell for the tired anime cliché of getting sick because she didn't freaking finish drying off.
