| Fillers are better than draggin out the story in my opinion and atleast they make them interesting,im interested in this "Calm Belt" im curious as to how they'll get out. Lol that was funny the way Luffy knocked Zoro right off the ship lol, also funny how Luffy liked her breakfast lol. |
| I don't mind fillers at all, especially when it has characters like One Piece. That girl is mysterious, but I'm looking forward to seeing more of the Calm Belt. |

| Pretty good episode. I thought it was interesting how Nami's abilities as navigator were actually shown. You know, like how she escaped the Marine's using the squall. Unfortunately, they are now apparently stuck in the middle of nowhere... Also, the Straw Hats are just awesome. I wasn't, however, to happy about that one guy with weird ass hairstyle. His character design was terrible and, yes, he looked like a Who. |

I am actually really enjoying this filler personally. The girl seems to have a pretty interesting story behind her. I really appreciate the leadership that the Lt. displayed at the end. He made a very wise choice accepting punishment rather than jeopardizing the safety of his crew, he has got to be the greatest Marine leader I have seen so far from this series. |

| This filler has started with the quality the majority of the canonical arcs do. Or at least with it's character writing, the villains feel just as mediocre as the villains from the first One Piece movie, as in completely stale and one note. My point about the character writing is that we got a dynamic with the crew which was just as delightful as it ever is. And Apis is adorable and a fun new temporary member. A handful of examples: The way Luffy didn't care about the burnt food of Apis and ate it as if it was a masterpiece and how he snuck there at night to get extra food creating the whole scene. The way Sanji was both kind to the work Apis put into her food and pulled a total Sanji forcing them not to waste it. The way Zoro and Luffy showed their beautiful bromance casually agreeing to take on an entire fleet of navy ships and how Usopp screamed at them after hearing how reckless they can be. And how Zoro and Nami were the first two to realize they messed up sailing directly into the Calm Belt. These are quality character interactions and what are making this filler feel canonical, even if the plot of it ends up lacking, or the villains are clearly 1 dimensional filler monsters, if it keeps up this character writing I think it'll be a fun journey. We've seen the childhood of all the straw hats and what made them who they are today, so I find it interesting that we're seeing a childhood possibly as traumatic coming from an actual child now, not a flashback. I may be reading into it too much, and it is filler after all, but perhaps that's what the purpose was. After showing us what makes a person into a hero so many times we may be seeing the journey hands on this time. |
| They're gonna take a quick detour to help Apis get back to Warship Island but they got chased by the Marines and ended up getting stranded in the Calm Belt with nothing to move their ship with oof. |

| This is a filler episode, but didn't feel like it. I actually laughed a lot and felt moved by how Apis was treated in the ship. These guys are amazing. The concept of the Calm Belt is very interesting, too. I'm thrilled. |
| Now that's how you do filler. The kindness the Straw-hats showed towards the Apisu was truly heart warming. Especially how Sanji treated her when she'd made a mess of that meal. =) So now they are stuck in Calm-Belt? Will be interesting to see how they get out of this one.. pretty sure Apis will have a trick up her sleeve. |

| Well the next couple of episodes will be filler but that's OK I kind of need to recover from the big events that happened in Loguetown anyway. So currently met a girl named Appis who can apparently talk to animals? I dunno, but I get the feeling that we are gonna find out more about her, why she's pursued by the marines and what the Calm Belt is. The latter I'm intrigued about by the way. I found it funny that Luffy accidentally knocked Zorro overboard and the fact that Sanji has a mouse trap prepared for Luffy when he's gonna pilfer the food. XD Not much to say it's filler but surprisingly didn't feel like a filler episode at all when I was watching it so that was good. |
