I think the most juvenile perspective on sex is thinking nudity is inherently more erotic :> Accessorizing and accentuating do absolute wonders and can turn a mediocre design/body into an amazing one, and the best of the best can combine both to push it beyond. That's pretty much omnipresent in porn and doujin and everywhere, too, and that's there for a reason. Because a bare ass will rarely be as attractive as one that's accentuated by clothing articles or accessories that really draw it out and make it pop. |

| Fanservice Debates in all cases usually suck. Even though I don't like most fanservice and how often anime does sex appeal I usually defend it because there are so many stupid arguments against it. I usually don't anymore because it just leads to nothing but insults with people side stepping around issues on the arbitrary lines of how anime depicts a lot of it's stuff plus a lack of evidence and other reasonable things people would have to ban as well to fit their ideas of purity and safety. Massive over generalizations of entire genres/eras of anime. It's pretty easy to nickpick these views to death with exceptions and the people that make it are trying to find some way to validate their taste rather than simply enjoying it. To add on as well those that feel the need to bash entire genres or those that enjoy them. Sure I would like to see more space operas too but saying moe CGDCT anime and their fans are all trash isn't going to get you more of what you want. |

| Probably the biggest complaint that I can’t understand which I hear all the time is when people complain about too much fanservice. I mean, most people watch porn right? Hentai seems to be very popular in the anime community. People complain when stuff is censored, people were outraged when Interspecies Reviewers was taken down because it was supposedly “hardly pornographic”, but yet every season some new show comes out that is totally shamed because of its uncomfortable and unnecessary fanservice (be it FireForce, Kemono Michi, Plunderer, etc). Yet, when I get around to watching these shows I’m surprised by how clean they are! So, what’s the issue? The complaint seems to contradict what people actually like. Basically, if you’re watching hentai you want titties, butt, orgasms, etc all uncensored, but when you’re watching normal anime you want no sexual content at all?! I’m probably the odd one out but I don’t watch hentai so having the camera zoom in on a girls’ butt, a dudes nose bleed from seeing a girl in a bikini, or just having some characters engage in some sexual banter can be really funny, spicy, and refreshing. I’d rather stick to the middle-ground, not too vulgar but just enough to be satisfied, exactly what fanservice is good for. |

I guess you could call lucua in Kobayashi fanservice but it's not really about her being sexual. It's about the jokes that come from it . In cases like seven deadly sins tho it just clashes with scenes that aren't supposed to be jokes .( Also idk who thinks that just simple sexual harassment is somehow a character trait and/or a clever joke ) In addition to that actual sexual fanservice just seems sad and desperate.
