However, I did like how they're able to connect the main characters and have them learn more about each other. After all, they're on this adventure together and anything could happen in front of them. |

| Great that Maam is still going with them, they all were really happy xD And her weapon is extremely interesting to be honest, now I'm kinda hyped for the next episode, seems like it's going to be filled with a lot of action |

| Every time I watch this I’m just filled with nostalgia of the early 2000s and watching DB on Toonami. Love the dynamic and interactions between Maam, Dai , etc and am looking forward to seeing how it develops on their journey. It’s nice to get a slower paced episode today after nonstop action as of late. Of course you couldn’t help but feel sad about Avan tho, he may be dead, but he’ll be an ever present force in the show. |

| Nice, Maam joined Dai to avenge Avan and fight alongside them. They offered some kind of power to Crocodine but he refused it, he wants to beat Dai in an honorable way. I still think Crocodine will take up on his offer in the end. |

| So Maam has joined Dai's party after learning about Avan's death. Next week its Round 2 of Dai vs. Crocodine as he leads his army on a assault. |

| The weapon Maam's used really helped Dai a lot with the battle against Crocodine, forced him to leave the battground, and swore to revenge the loses that hurted his feeling. The weapon, its actually a gift from Avan when she was graduated. Well, so thats why the weapon was so powerful, using a bullet as an attacking spell rather just use it by your power self. Its really suited well with her weaknessess. Its also revealed that Maam's parents were also Avan previous team member to defeat Hadlar, eh? Wow, a nice information has been added up to my minds! The next scene, where another commander legion appeared and he knew the location of Brass. Its looks like, those Mystic commander abducted him, maybe. So thats why he aided Crocodine with those plan, tricky plan? Then, when i thought they might've tell the real story, they post-poned it, until Maam realized it by herself as she eavesdrop the chat within Dai and the elder villager. Well, she might had a mixed feeling by those information. However, she must be brave and took the opportunity to leave the village, as every villager already granted her wishes without any burden on her shoulders anymore. So, thats the story where the beginning of their adventure started, together, to fights a dark army under Hadlar command. TBC! |

| Popp said that he likes a girl that doesn´t complain and does everything he wants, turns out he went from the exact opposite of that. Nice one dude, the stubborn ones are better. So I just noticed this week that the opening have the 6 legion generals in one panel, then Haddler and I guess who is supposed to be Vearn in the end. However, one of those 6 looks like a human. Interesting. Considering this is an old shonen he gave me the vibe of the bad dude that turns good and teach the protagonist for a few arcs. |
I knew that a Maam was going to be joined with dai, in the last fight dai almost won the demon king but I think in the next fight maybe he will win. |

| Another good episode. The only thing I did not like is the censorship. They censored part when Dai cut crocodine eye. In the manga and original TV, there is blood |
| I honestly find the pacing too quick and I can't explain it too well. The classic had a lot of build suspension, in combination of the music and the touch of "party" feelings and comedy, made it memorable. Also, the character design is just generic and not very loyal to the series (much like DB). Although clean. It seems like current animation just blows up in your face a lot and depends on being visually obnoxious and camera fast. Crocodine is a cool dude; welcome aboard Maam. Wait...DQ is getting flak from DB fans? Don't sleep! Especially after Hadlar appears. |

I already readed de manga, It was published on my country, by VID editorial, I think with the Baran arc being animated the rate in MAL will increase. |

| Nice episode. They pushed back Crocodine with Maam's help, Popp really over reacts sometimes. Avan. :( I love that Dai is teasing Popp about liking Maam. xD Now that Maam's finally joined up, the adventure's just getting started. |

| Maam is a really good character I was not expecting a strong female companion with a great personality from such an old story. Goes to show that there were many good precedents already and that the 2000s mangaka just chose to do the opposite |
