A show can either be awful to the point of avant-garde, or awful to the point of destroying an abnormally large amount of brain cells. I think Bukatsumono is avant-garde. | I'm pretty sure Code Geass isn't amusing. I guess there are few times I laugh at the stupid shit happened in it but it was not that fun overall. I'd say a lot of 90s OVA with a below 4 or 5 score on MAL is often very entertaining. Some of them aren't even bad, like Byston Well Monogatari. But people on MAL are so boring that they always fail to appreciate the humor in it. Another good one is Cipher. I was also almost convinced that Baka to Test would be a similar case, but instead I ended up genuinely enjoying what seems to initially be the worst humor. |

| Part of the appeal of "Cat Planet Cuties" is some elements fall into the 'so bad it's good' category. If you think it's ridiculously improbable that an alien race would happen to resemble cute anime catgirls, so do some of the characters in the story and there's a subplot about that very point. |
