THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Such a stark contrast between the old man working on the devastated landscape and the florishing tree with the angles representing the lost lifes of the natural disaster. However, in the end the work pays out (with a little help of the angles), showing that there is always hope and the chance for a new beginning no matter how hard it might seem. |

The style was lovely. And I liked what it said about understanding each other despite not being the exact same person. |

well, I liked the animation but I don't like the talk about God. Honestly I don't understand why God was mentioned anyway, would have been better without any words.. |

Thanks for that, I was about to rate this one low for the dialogue but then thanks to your comment I rewatched it with the second track and it was pretty good, nice song and lovely art... |

I guess the purpose of this video was to motivate the japanese population for reconstruction by making them think lolis in summerdresses are watching over them. But sarcasm aside, the concept was neat, but the execution a bit tacky imo and I also don't love those kind of overly slow songs, so for me it was an average music video. |
I probably regret this post by now. |

Good choice with Sigur Rós. Hoppípolla is as uplifting as it gets. |

Splendid animation. I wonder what kinda budget is required for stuff of this quality. It's really nice. Can't say much about the music, but it fit. Overall, I'd say it was a worth while music video to watch. |

Nice art combined with a good song (I really like the dreamy sound of Sigur Rós). Lot's of emotions in this music vid :) Most def the best one in the Zapuni project! Thanks for mentioning that there's an other version of it, 'cause I was kinda wondering what those angels were saying... |

I got the message, but it's very forgettable. Probably my least favorite from Zapuni. |

Those visuals were great, the music was all right as well. Guess this can share a top spot in my Anime list (at least for an short). |

Loved it, very sad though as when the girl crying at the start turned up as an angel I thought she had died, but then she came back at the end. Really liked the art style as well. The official video for the track is great as well: https://youtu.be/mZTb8WxEW78 |

This was beautiful and I like the message in the end that we should pray for living things. I didn't understand was she an angel then became human, or was she always human its just metaphorical?? Either the music was very good and the silent plot great to watch. 8/10. |

Would like to see more with this kind of animation style. It has a quaint charm to it. |

The emotional power comes from the delicate, expressive, and detailed animation rather than the song, I think. I could watch those angel girls turn their heads and fly around all day, that's how good it looked. I thought it was beautiful. Cheesy maybe, but still beautiful. |
