Iris herself has an important role this episode along with the prince. Not much action this episode but important one for the future at stake. |

| lol @ the knights who are in charge of the sailing. Mission to deliver message. That 2nd place is good at talking and negotiating, so that the knight who was alerting soften up and agreed to let them in. That scene that shown in the PV, it seems like it's KajiKaji's character who fell in love and not both at the same time according to this ep. He was curious about her. Common enemy... and needs to work together. KajiKaji's character's opinion was asked, which was the reason for her decision. |

| I feel like nothing happened this episode, either they have no content or are tying to make it tense. Compared to the first episode this one was really slow. Tho it still looks good tbh |
| The Prince of Darkness with the 2nd place smart-talker envoy Adel, being messengers of the Kingdom of Black, on their way to the Light Kingdom and meet the grief-stricken Queen of Light, Iris...amidst high tensions that rub each other the wrong way at the beginning due to past conflicts. The mere jokes of the workers, feels so insulting to Lady Queen Groza (and myself), so much of that chagrin... The troubles of the Prince of Darkness and Queen Iris, concerns more than just the war that's happening concurrently. Yet, to fight for an alliance is no more than just mere words to royalty, it changes the atmosphere with beacon and tensity. And so the alliance of Black and White is formed...really interesting to see what would happen now. |

| Not much really happened aside from the knight still being stubbornly annoying and Adel showing a shocking negotiation skills. Well I guess the first meeting of the two was okay enough at least. |

I already comment in eps 2 or 3 but yeah the description is wrong... that is Main Story snyopsis in the game. Zero Chronicle is The Zero Chapter of that main story, hence the title Zero Chronicle Arc, Well its basically story before MC and Iris became the way in the game. This Zero Chronicle Arc introduced first a couple years ago like 2 or 3 years in the game, with the first Light element Iris Hikaru no Ou ver. and Time-Stop skill, its super OP at that time.. and the first Berserker class - MC Yami no Ou ver. with first Dark Element ofc.. If anyone interested to playing the game, there is event collab with Kimetsu no Yaiba right now... and there is returning banner gacha for Iris and MC Zero Chronicle ver as well... |

| Ok it's only me or studio is really too ambitious compared with current budget and basic plot. | This was a nice episode... but really, what's the thing all those nameless characters? First the main protagonist, now the soldiers. It was a fine episode. Iris was still a bit boring, but hey, she was hardly there to bring much of her. I like how Adel and... our nameless prince switched places. Though he never came out as the great talker, I never felt like he talked that little, but oh well. I like that Adel guy much more than the previous episode. Our nameless prince did shine in his few moments of speech/actions. And let's not forget out trio XD Seems like it's actually starting being better. |

| Another solidly enjoyable episode. I'm still on board, despite this having previously been my least-favorite show of the season after the sloppy badly-executed overserious s*** show that was episodes 1&2. Slowing down and taking some time to give the characters more nuanced expressions, and some quiet moments to let the atmosphere and tension hang over everything has done wonders for this show. It seriously feels like the studio was biting off way more than they could chew at the beginning, but then starting around episode 3 they finally found the groove they were looking for, and it's been enjoyable ever since. Like, this story isn't going to be breaking any boundaries of character or worldbuilding, and the designs are still very "what an angsty teen would draw," but I'm at least enjoying the dynamics between the characters now, and the directing and writing are significantly better than they were. It's legitimately watchable now. I actually want to see what will happen. |

Yeah i think you can take it as prequel to the game or chapter zero, its same i guess. But timeline wise, its was after chapter 10 or 11 in main story in the game when they introduced this story. So yeah its supposed to explain the characters that you already knew not to explain all the world-building that you supposed to already know like rune stuff and all that. So for anime-only its kinda maybe not really clear but for me just seeing Iris is enough lol. I dunno those games but this is action rpg |

| That 3 chibi's dwarf guards were really annoying and their joke were an absolute cringe. Its even better if they cutted that shit out of this episode. But, nope. The whole negotiation was indeed had a deadlock. Still the outcome surely understandable. However, that MC played cool in the front of unknown queen like that was a pain in the ass. The clicheness never missed the chance to puke me out. Instead that shit, why dont play along and do something more relevant rather than show to me the power of MC charms. Fortunately, that Phious has a wise acted and had more logical senses than our beloved MC whom dont belonged the good attitude himself. Okay. Again. Its understandable for the hidden purposes that might lead their relations of shiro-kuro shit in the next future. Lets see the sadness came to their alliances that got shattered into the pieces after the demolition of Bahl. |

| I think Iris already knows who the real prince is, kinda obvious seeing his weird behaviour. Adel and MC were pretty respectfull, I wonder why Phious felt so agitated, did he perhaps felt the fate between the MC and Iris? |
