| Will most likely be episodes, the next arc won't do too well in movie form imo and much better as a season. Will likely be very far off though, current arc is after the Bondrewd arc and the chapters are coming out very slowly. Excited though, loving the Ganja story and the most recent arc so far as a whole (in the manga) Cant wait to see... |

| Oh man, really hoping it's another season and not more movies. Movies are great for marketing but they just don't have enough time to develop characters and plot properly and end up skipping a lot. So here's hoping for another season! Oh and another full soundtrack by Kevin Penkin! |

The sequel announced in late 2017 eventually became a movie in roughly 2 years as well. So my guess here is that there is a high chance for either Summer 2021 or 2022 for a season 2, or Winter 2021/2022 for a new movie, as all 3 movies have come out on January. 2022 seems likely if there is some other sort of MiA content to fill the gap like the recaps did, as the fact that they announced a sequel right at the end of the movie screening seems to suggest they don't want the franchise to cool down. 2021 may seem slightly too soon but 1. we've had some sort of MiA anime content roughly once a year since the first season aired 2. there was presumably some latency between the director reading the manga and having a definitive production team with the intent of developing an anime project during the 2-year delay of S1 3. the movie might have taken longer because it's a movie (higher production values), or because they were hiring and expanding for much of the production 4. the fact that they announced a sequel right at the first screening seems to suggest they had already gotten approval to go forward with it some time ago and just delayed the announcement to hype up at the movie's release, as opposed to the out-of-nowhere announcement for a sequel we had last time that we now know was done so soon after they got the approval that much of the staff didn't even know about it themselves. |
