DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Man i can tell you this is the best chapter in entire SNK history, The Tree was the one responsible for The Titan powers and the backstory Of Ymir was really sad. Finally Eren gave her the encouragement to fight against everything bad done to her and Rumbling started. |

| What an amazing chapter, also that title "from you 2000 years ago" in relation to chapter 1 "to you 2000 years in the future" it is all coming full circle, also the art was incredible, Ymir backstory and then Eren declaration to end the world, rage Eren from season 1 saying he is going to destroy the world was a foreshadowing all along! |

Probably it would have been a better idea to read the translation first, before making assumption, it gives the impression that you have a negative bias mindset towards the series. Not saying that is the case, but just that is how it looks, as you even yourself pointed out that you may be wrong. |
| Fantastic chapter. So it turns out Ymir wasn't a god or a devil after all, she was just a random slave that was singled out to blame for something she didn't do, had her eyes gouged out, then hunted down and fell into a giant vat of liquid under a unusually tall tree containing a weird looking parasite that looked like a human spine. Jury's still out on whether this is the fabled "source of all organic matter" though. So elements of Marleyan and Eldian scripture were both correct and incorrect at the same time, twisted to suit particular narratives and belief systems, and there was no devil at all. It's confirmed that Ymir wasn't killed by the "13 year curse" but by a spear by an unknown enemy soldier. However, I still think there is a 13 year curse for titan shifters that came after her. 13 years being the gap between her obtaining her power to when she died. Falco made a reference about Reiner and his inability to heal when Eren destroyed Liberio in an earlier chapter, and how the shifter's ability to heal is predicated on their will to live and their motivations for doing so. I wonder if Ymir purposely wanted to die and didn't heal herself when she was speared because she'd lost the will to live or had underlying motivations i.e her ability to peer into the future of her successor's and see her fate. Even the King seemed surprised when she didn't get back up and passed on. All in all, a great chapter and it looks like the rumbling is gonna happen next chapter. |

| HOLY FUCKING SHIT This was THE best foreshadowed connection of this whole manga. From the very title of chapter one, to why Eren was crying, to the overall thematics of freedom in this series, to the twisted history of the world, everything fits so goddamn well now. 6/5 I feel so good that we got some of the best chapters of One Piece and this one in a matter of consecutive weeks. |

| Finally the truth! The Ymir that everyone called queen and a goddess was actually a terribly abused slave. I want more information about that magical tree which turned Ymir into a titan. It was the only thing which felt supernatural in this whole story, and kind of out of place. (That is why we need Hanji and Armin; they made the titans and titan shifting look like science.) The Ymir hunting scene reminded me of a scene in Game of Thrones that looked kind of similar. I got goosebumps when the paths got created. Eren gave his freedom speech even to Ymir. lol. Still, I felt kind of emotional. Ymir was building the colossal titans, as if foreshadowing what was about to happen next. Eren was trying to start the Rumbling that we have been hearing about for years. And he succeeded! I wonder how Gabi feels as she did make it easier in a way. (Maybe Eren knew she'd do that from the start!) It was so cool how Eren's spine regrew! A lot of the panels looked bloody awesome. I feel like the anime won't be able to make it look as good. I still want to know how other titans were created. There were no titan serums back in the past. |

| I was expecting a different backstory to Ymir but holy hell, it was even more depressing than i thought it'd be. I wonder if Eren meant he wanted to destroy the actual entire world or just the paths dimension. Having in count what seems to be Eren's motivations, the paths option makes more sense but there were moments in the story that could be a foreshadow to him wanting to really end their whole world. Either way, i find this chapter's cliffhanger even bigger than the last one. I honestly can't think how events will play out now. There's only one more thing bothering me, we see again the colossal titans facing to the inside of the wall and not outside where Marley and the other nations are, if that's relevant i have a bad feeling. |

Because there must be a reason for it knowing isayama's writting style. At first we were told the colossal titans were made to protect Paradis from outsiders(Marley) but if they were created with external use in mind then they would be facing in the other direction instead, the ocean's. Of course it could also mean nothing and be irrelevant like how i pointed out before, but it still bugs me. |

| Everyone is terrible eldians ancestors are scums and Marley are scums. Ymir is treated like dirt and treats like garbage. Poor girl I feel really sad sad for her :( :(. Go Eren and Ymir destroy the world. I support Eren and Ymir. I am on Eren and Ymir side. Good riddance shithead Zeke fail. I love the fact Eren hug Ymir. Poor girl deserve it. I say it again. I support Eren and Ymir goals completely. This best chapter I read and I give SNK 20 out of 10 My favourite manga/anime series of all time. Of all anime and manga I watch and read. |

| Let's get ready to rumbleee Ymir's past was awful. I think that scene where Maria, Rose and Sina are eating Ymir may have surpassed Mike's death as the most disturbing scene in the manga. That king was a piece of shit and I wish he had a gruesome death. I'm glad Eren treated her like a human being and saved her, or rather gave her the choice to do what she wants, freely. During the end of 121, people thought he was gonna attack her, but Eren's character arc has been about freedom from oppression because we're all born into this world, so it makes sense he'd want to help her. Also the 'to you, 2000 years from now was finally explained and has now come in full circle!! The thing with the rumbling is: if it happens, Eldians and Ymir will be free, but many innocents will die. If the rumbling doesn't happen, Ymir will remain a slave, Eldians will still be hated by the world and they will be killed for the sins of their ancestors. No matter the scenario, there will be dark, unjust consequences. FIngers crossed Mikasa, Armin, Jean and the others live, as well as Falco, Gabi, Reiner... basically everyone besides Floch LOL although this would be wishful thinking on my part :/ |

| AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH KINOOOOO Eren wins, Rumbling happening. Backstory of Ymir was pretty meh and generic. Evil ruler who has no compassion. I mean she is the mother of his daughters, he should have liked her a bit better. But its ok, I dont care. Everyone is irrelevant except for Eren. And seems like theres no Devil. "You have been waiting all this time... Since 2000 years ago... for someone" Very beautiful moment, I literally cried with such powerful and beautiful moment Poor Ymir had been suffering in silence for so long. Isayama made the perfect ending or at least the perfect final conclusion for Eren. 6 years ago when I first came in contact with shingeki no kyojin I never thought that he would become my favorite character in any kind of medium. He simply did it. |

| Ymir's backstory was kinda meh. That king was cartoonishly evil and with no remorse what so ever even for the mother of his children yet she jumped for him anyway, whatever tbh. I still don't know what Eren is gonna do with all that power he gained in the end, is he seriously gonna destroy the world for real? I don't see how that give him "true freedom" |
