| To think that Ayanokoji planned out the whole thing right from the moment he fond the camera. It might be satisfying to see Class C and Class A's plan backfire and have them get their just desserts, with the latter having to pay 20k points per head to the former every month but to think that he will go that far as to get Horikita beat up and render her unconscious as part of the plan... He really isn't going to let anyone get in his way. Looks like Kushida softened up on Horikita despite still hating her While Ayanokoji sees everyone else as mere tools he'll use to prove his father wrong, sinking every possible ship he might have with every female character introduced so far, it might be for the best of Class D as a whole since he'll have to help them all along the way if he'll ever make it to Class A. I guess I'll have to wait to see if Icarus did burn his wings at the end. |

I really liked the series and would liked to have seen it go 24 episodes. Hopefully there will be a season 2. A lot of the characters were just filler trope types but the ones that it focused on seemed interesting in their hidden/suppressed selves. I liked the art and the fact that the MC really never broke deadpan. Since I am feeling generous, I give it a 9/10 due to it making me smile at the very end. |

| I thought that Kouenji might have been part of the plan, but he really just turned out to be an eccentric monkey man that wanted to relax! One thing's for certain though. Ayanokouji is a total badass. The true elite. Did not see that last minute coming at all. Well, it's a real shame that this is it. I really like the concept of these classes vying for power and it feels as though there's quite a bit of potential that could be tapped into if this got another season. It's refreshing how this series is able to maintain a certain degree of cynicism without becoming too entrenched in it. I'm especially interested in seeing what would become of Ayanokouji & Horikita's relationship once they reach the top and if either of their feelings would change by the end. 7/10 |

| That went about as expected. It was a pretty good ending to the season. Ayanokouji and Sakura were the only characters I liked here. |

| What an incredible plot twist!!! Class D came into first place with class C being the bottom! I just love the reactions in all their faces when hearing that class D won! Even Class A's and Class C's cooperation failed. All thanks to the simply genius plan that Ayanokouji has done. Manipulating from the background all the events that have happened this past few episodes all so that he could win. Damn, Ayanokouji's actions to win this was just incredible! Though I still don't like it how he doesn't want to take credit for all his works to the class. A step closer to Ayanokouji X Horikita, Horikita acknowledging Ayanokouji as her ally and thanking him was really cute and heartwarming! But hold up... Of course, Ayanokouji has an ulterior motive, especially after being hinted in his short flashbacks. He doesn't consider Horikita or anyone else as his allies and instead sees them as tools. That's painfully cold... "As long as I win in the end, that's all that matters" Now that last words he thought brings out so many questions to his ultimate objective and basically everything about him. From his 'Father' to his past... Highschool of The Elites is a different kind of high school related anime. The system of the school along with how the students relate and treat each other made this story so great, but what made it even better for me is simply the presence of Ayanokouji and his brilliance. The mysteries surrounding him is another huge reason for this characters' greatness. This show deserves another season with excellent quality in all aspect like this. Even if that'll never happen, I might even decide to read the light novel for it! |

| That was so good, yet so bad. I absolutely loved the premise and it started so promising; then it suddenly became pointless and stupid. Ayanokouji is an amazing MC, but they didn't show enough of him and his backstory to keep me entertained. The last few episodes were boring as hell and only the last few minutes where Ayanokouji showed his true nature were worth a watch, what a shame! I need more of him. With that being said, yes I'd love to see a second season with focus on Ayanokouji. 5/10 |

| Man watching this kinda triggered me in so many ways.. The only decent thing about this is the art... The story and all characters so shit... there's no likeable characters.. i want to punch them all.. 5/10 |

| the end is a bit underwhelming. Sure the mc is badass, but we don't really see him showing off his badassry. sure he planned the whole thing, but it was an easy plan, not something intricate that would made us gasp and cry "omg he's a genius!" In the end, only Horikita finds out that he's the mastermind behind it all. I wish more people would find out (like how everyone knows that Hikigaya sacrificed himself for others). We didn't get much of a reaction from her either. Anyway, I just feel unsatisfied with this ending. Badassry and genius mc who manipulated everyone like fools is supposed to make you feel passionate, and satisfied, and get your blood pumping, y'know. But the whole time I watched this show even till the end, the 'big' reveal, i had a passive face much like Ayanokouji's. Everything went the way I expected so nothing came as a surprise for me. I need more! Not sure what, but just like MORE! you know?? |
| So... Ibuki was the culprit after all? The obvious person who would benefit from all of this? The one person no sane member of Class D would've let stayed near their camp? Wow... just wow. How retarded. The show started off quite good, but once that test on the island started it all went to shit. Their plans were hella obvious and the show tried to sell it as a story with plot twists and intelligent characters. In the end it was all quite simple though and the characters quite bland. Still I enjoyed the beginning, so I give it a generous 5/10. |

| Too cheesy, over the top and forced.Inconsistent plot points that lead to conveniences just to move the story.What else to say? Mc was really interesting as a character but he got wasted with the mix of novel cliches. Might check out the source material later. |

| Totally disappointed. I read a guy on twitter who refered MC by "god", "OP MC" so I started this show and it was boring and cliché. They try to show some smart moves but nothing surprise me. Every characters aren't enjoyable. Maybe in LN, the story is better but with this 12 episodes... I rather watch Baka to test to laugh than this... |
| Wow Ayanokouji was so creepy at the end, this dude is really like a robot, we still don't know about his past and his real goals, I wanna know how Ichinose got so much points too, well there are still plenty of mysteries, I think I need to read the LN but i'm too lazy xD Anyway it was a good watch, 8/10 for the first half and 6/10 for the second, so 7/10 overall |

| Pretty fun little series, very easy to binge, though I am a sucker for high school drama series. 8/10. |

| have to agree that ayanokouji made the show, he was a really interesting character. everything else was so off, had no idea what this show was trying to achieve it tried to be so smart & deep yet half of the time i couldn't take it seriously lol - perhaps just 12 episodes was way too little for everything to play out, the overall tone of the show just didn't make ANY sense. there also seems to be a major backstory that was left unexplored. 6/10 but i think i'll give it a 7 just because of ayanokouji  |

| Finally, Ayanokoji reveal his intention though it's not 100% at least we get to know what's been on his mind. Still gonna give this a 5/10 because there's a lot of annoying characters and too much fan service. But honestly I find the story a mediocre. A whole class trying to climb up a ladder thru point system, nothing really special in it. |
