| Well, that completely f*cked me around. God dammit. Did they actually leave some kids to die, 'cause they weren't carrying all of them; this anime has me too deep, they didn't even confirm its episode total for the longest time -only for them to give us this sort of climax. God. I'm not even thinking about whether Norman is dead at this moment... cause sh*t just got very real. From the get go, Ray was my favourite. Still is. However it was daft of her to leave her ear so conspicuously, ya coulda gamed it a bit more than just leaving in the bucket... like outside or somewhere, or in the nursery. |

| Ray told Emma his plan about burn down the house, and be used as a distractor, but Emma stopped him, apparently Norman communicated with Emma. They cheated Isabella cutting their ears (transmisor) and leaving it on the fire, Emma did the same in a bathroom and Don triggered the plan, Emma saw everyone in the forest (incluiding Ray). Isabella is outside the orphanage watching it burn, Phil encountered her. Emma impressed me, I don't know what kind of ending I'm expecting, but Emma really executed that plan, I don't see any baby with them, I think Emma realized that carrying everyone with her would be lot of trouble. There's an interesting role for Phil, I think. |

| And so, the escape truly begins! It was a pretty tense build-up of emotions between Ray and Emma. Ray caught me by surprise when he dosed himself with the fuel and gave off one of the most psychopathic expressions I've seen for a long time in anime, but even then, his plan was thwarted by Emma and her plan went into motion immediately. They still went ahead of starting the fire in the dining room to lure out Isabella and it worked perfectly. The kids were able to escape with Don and Gilda, plus Emma and Ray, who went to the lengths of cutting their left ears off completely so that the tracking signal would screw Isabella over. Plus, the entrance to her secret room was also sealed off, so she couldn't contact headquarters either. Only when the kids arrived at the wall was when Ray noticed something off. Not all of the kids joined in this daring escape plan and when the scene returned to Isabella having a small crazy expression moment about declaring that Emma and Ray were still alive, it was Phil, of all kids, who caught her attention. I know that the manga readers in the posts above have already popped off about Phil, but I'd rather let the final episode explain to me, if it does, about why Phil remained at the burning Grace Field House with Isabella and not went with Emma and Ray's group. So please don't give me a spoiler filled response? ^^; Other than that, this was another excellent episode, filled with exciting turns and twists and also delivered extremely well in terms of visuals and the OST. Let the final episode be another great one! |

| Uhhh finally stuff happened again! Great episode! But I do hate "mystery" anime which create their puzzles by intentionally not telling the viewers what the MCs know. That shit made me drop Gosick, I mean its great and all for the surprise, but that works only once. No rewatch value this way. So I will leave this at a 7 for now. I do hope this ends nicely, not in a cliffhanger open ending, second seasons arent guaranteed and take foreeeeever. So phil is gonna stab Mom, and he wanted to get her attention because he is a sadist, nice. PS: I love the outro! For me EDs are pretty much always way better than OPs, but still, its great! |

| Honestly, i am without words! This episode was magnificent, happened so much unexpected things during this episode, my mind got stunned a lot of times! And the plan was really exciting to watch, damn! Ray were pretending to suicide for distract mom, Norman predicted that and told the plan to Emma, Emma managed to save him, but i really thought he was dead! So while Emma looked depressed for mother she was really giving instructions to the kids, emma outwits mother and even Ray! So Phil is not with the group, he showed up close to mother, i wonder what is her role! |

| Holy crap. This got me all fired up for the final episode!! I'm surprised to see that all the younger children were in on the escape all along. Mama was raising some real smart ones there. Now Phil... Truly the biggest mystery in the entire series.. |

| Now that this episode aired I can finally make this joke. Episode 1: Norman- "Ray's much better at tactics than me" Episode 11: Ray-"I have the perfect plan Emma. I'm gonna set myself ON FIRE!" Yeah this episode was great. Ray's expressions were well animated. Surprised the cut up the escape in two episodes like this but it works. | I almost got tricked that Ray would really kill himself, loved the episode and the directing in it and the music was used well. One episode to go, gonna miss this anime, hoping for an immediate announcement for a second season when this ends. |

| Great episode. Cloverworks brought their A game to this, direction as fantastic and the art was on point too. Especially during the initial fire scene where Emma is crying for Ray. This episode got me real excited, I hope they keep this up for the finale. Love the plan here and how Norman had Ray outsmarted from the start and played her part really well too. I am interested in how they're going to end this though, not sure what a good stopping point would be cause I bet everyone is gonna want to see more. xD Phil is definitely the clear MVP. xD |

| KEVIN! So this means all the kids did know Isabella was a threat when she came back carrying Emma in episode 9 or 10. Now I'm just gonna be dying to know how the series ends all week until next thursday. Sushantbro said: Is there a chance of a second season? | OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG This episode completely compensates the last one! I was so scared for a second that Ray was going to burn alive but i am glad that Emma saved him! What a plan! Holy s**! All this time she pretended that she gave up, even Ray wasn't aware of her plan! And i never thought that she would tell everyone And the whole fire idea! Holy s**! Never thought that she would cut her ear, why didn't she used Ray's device? So sad that the next episode is the last one :/ Can't wait! |

Plot hole ? She has high efficent combat training, you saw it in sister krones past. A few 10 year olds are no match for her, and that are the oldest ones. Would have been a way to high risk to attack her if you want to escape with everyone. Children are weak, sadly this isn't a fighter shounen where they would be able to hold their ground against a pro MMA fighter. |

| Well, that escalated pretty quickly. Phil sure is an enigma, I don't know what to think about him and why he was there... based on Isabella's surprised reaction, it seems there wasn't any pact between them so I wonder why he stayed behind. I also wonder where were the babies since I didn't see any of them when Emma, Ray and the kids were running through the forest. It was a great episode overall. Really looking forward to the finale! |

| oh god what an episode. ray's suicide plan was fuckin OP - he had goddamn molotovs ready and in place, he had a box full of gasoline, matches, the whole nine yards and was ready to go through with it. when he poured the gas on his head and then gave emma the book i thought i was gonna cry - that OST got me good. i'm so happy they're finally escaping! it feels like they've been planning this forever and i was just waiting for them to play it out, but i'm so happy they finally did. hopefully it all works out. also, they cut off their ears. THEY CUT OFF THEIR FUCKING EARS these kids have more balls than i did when i was their age... |

| Oh fuck off with that ending. Phil better pull a glock out his ass and blow Mom away like wtf is he doing there. Their plan was actually pretty elaborate. It was basically Norman who planned it all out after incorporating his twist into Rays original idea. It was smart for Emma to slowly tell all the other kids anyway. Pretty friggin metal to cut their ears off like that as well. They will definitely escape, and at this rate I'd bet everyone will make it. The real question is will we see Norman again or not. |
