What a wonderful last episode if you ask me, really gave it a strong and amazing ending to this second season.

The amount of clues and references this anime holds to Aria really got me back into its original flow and that sure was amazing!

Really found it wonderful this second season and would really love to see a third.

However with this season it seems more than enough for a good closure of this series and franchise as a whole!

So all in all I really loved this second season even more than the first.

Absolutely loved everything about this season. Even the fantasy arc that felt a little out of play at first, really did feel connected to the main theme in the end. People call it a "diving" anime all the time but they're missing the main point. I love seeing Teko grow so much over just one year. I hope we get a season 3

Beautiful conclusion for this so-so season. I'm really pleased and happy to see how much Teko has grown since her first immersion. The diving session during night was breathtaking and the last scene with Teko and Pikari exchanging love letters was so damn sweet I almost cry. Personally speaking, the bond they share is one of the purest ones I have ever seen in SoL genre.

Now, regarding the season as a whole, I have to say it wasn't really as enjoyable as the first one. True be told, the first 3 episodes were absolutely fantastic but sadly, the season went a bit downhill from there.
The addition of Kokoro's character was fine but his purpose of being a supposed rival for Pikari's affection was totally unnecessary as well as a dumb excuse to explain Teko and Pikari's relationship.
And on the other hand, Peter Arc felt so "out of place" considering the realistic context of the series I think it should have been adapted into OVAs instead. The addition of fantasy elements wasn't a good idea since they didn't blend well with the context and as a result, most of the scenes and interactions ended up feeling more jarring/forced than anything.

Don't get me wrong. Overall, I liked this season but in the end and due to the reasons I said, the final message wasn't as meaningful as the one the first season gave me.

I feel the same as you.
As for Kokoro: can't we have something not forced? As a mild yuri fan I would like to see lesbian relationships in anime/manga but sometimes friendship (or other kind of relationships) between females are enjoyable as well. Sometimes other kind of relationships are even better.

Overall a good show, I liked the first season more but only because we had more diving, I enjoyed the little different episodes like the dreams on acid episode or the peter arc (it was ok, ane-chan-senpai is fun to watch). Kokoro was annoying but I got over it, just give me more diving and I'm fulfilled

I decided to watch Amanchu on a whim, because I saw it was tagged with iyashikei and I felt like a calm, soothing anime. I didn't expect to feel this much though.

I like all characters (I didn't trust Towano-sensei at first though), the artstyle is gorgeous and the message I got from it made me think.

I wouldn't mind a third season.

10/10
