| Well, that was a ride... I really enjoyed the OST and the beginning of the story... but I had to doublecheck if this was the last episode... All of these questions... Guess I'll read the LN because this 'ending' was not really satisfying and Season 2 will most likely never make its appearance ever. 6/10 |

| If this was given to someone who'd put effort into makings this show, it might have been a pretty good and enjoyable ride. Sad that this was a show that I was very interested in when it got announced a year ago or more because the premise peeked my interest. shame |

I also thought, it would look like a Teaser of 12 chapters, where they show the world, a little to the characters and develop it a bit, for the next season and the real plot  |

| Hmm It had a good mystery but not resolving it in any way is an absolute downer... Also how the FUCK can they be all "Oh yea lets keep playing like we did in the olden days" happy go lucky after this?? Elicia kinda was hinted that she's from an alternative timeline where she was in subaru and where the senses were revealed into the Real world (that needs regulation). I liked the villains design and skills... but their handling and everything was garbage. 5/10 |
| Asahi's voice was fucking horrible, even worse than Mitsuki in Hyakuren no Haou to Seiyaku no Valkyria, and that's saying something. Shitty banshee voice aside, the show was pretty good, a solid 8/10. Just kidding. I stopped watching week to week at episode 9 when Nozomi got all thunderstruck and super depressed over seeing two of her best friends dancing together innocently at a fucking ball. Overreact much? The last arc was just more of that, but i managed to finish it, even though it was a stumble to the finish line. They also were shit at wrapping things up, but i guess they did as well as they could, so i won't fault them that. Still, 5/10, i won't watch again. |
| Overall, this wasn't a bad show by any means. To me, it is the very definition of "good enough" or just "decent". The storytelling was basic, despite having a pretty unique premise (for a show of this kind). The action was good, but not great. The dialogue was average at best. The animation was average as well. That said, the art itself was very nice to look at. The OP was actually great in my opinion and the ED was pretty good as well. Basically, it's what SAO should have been. Even then, it's far from spectacular. Overall: 7/10 |

| Solve 1 issue with Nozomi, another one came up for Asahi. Girls please, don't get jealous and go on a kill rampage / yandere mode just because you're jealous of another girls and you haven't done shit to earn affection from the guy you like. Looking at you Nozomi and Satsuki. The last few episodes truly have lost me.. bringing sense into the real world like wtf. Also, for every unexplainable situations, just blame it all on "human experiment". Girl's dead, but appears in VRMMO? Human experiment. Easy. The characters are boring. Clive is the most fun out of the bunch but sadly he doesn't get a lot of screen time. Most of the screentime was spent on shitty romantic drama x misunderstanding x love pentagon. Apparently feelings carry over from when you're 10 to your late teens.. even if you don't ever meet each other at all in that span of time. Should've made this a real isekai fantasy instead of an MMO, easier to take it seriously with the whole solve world problem shit. |

| Pretty okay wrap up, a whole lot of the main story line is still untold, but well I did still like the general progression and especially the episodic pacing was quite solid! Really liked the overall anime more than first expected. Personally would love to know more about this story to be honest and would really like a second season, but all in all it was a good watch! |

| It left a lot of unanswered questions. The biggest one being if Asahis is really dead or alive. It was fun but it left a lot of plotholes. I wish Haruto just date both Asahi and Satsuki. then I'll be happy. 5/10 |

| After watching the last EP = KMS MEE wtf alot unaswered questions like bro above said ^ I saw Asahi seeing many scientists in a laboratory OF course her body is still alive, BUT WHERE? the government discovered the organization but nothing about the whereabouts of her body was explained and THAT AS KILLING ME REEEEEEE well I expected more depth in the anime, as well as using out-of-game abilities, them blowing up the labs and rescuing Asahi for example, but that would be work for a minimum of 25 to 26 episodes, I was really disappointed. PS: I was following this anime during its release, but the fear of ending in crying made me afraid to finish, I see posts from 2018 and MY GOD I finished seeing this animal now in 2019? WTF, afraid of a mix of SAO with Ano Hana? or fear of those stories of kidnapping and locking you up in a lab? a lot of things have gone through my mind and I'm still in shock trying to understand this chaotic as well as pathetic ending. 6/10 but that's why I find Asahi cute ... |

| Hey come on, are there people here giving low rate ONLY because the misteries was not cleared in a "FIRST SEASON" of an unfinished story? wtf, so the 1st season of Attack on Titan should be rated bellow 6/10. Aside of that, even for a beggining of a longer anime, this season was terrible, the plot is terrible. - Unshamed rip-off of Anohana: the same love triangles with the same character tropes, in the same order, and even the hair color of the characters is the same. How is it allowed in Japan? This is the author, in other country he would be prossecuted: https://myanimelist.net/people/15907/Noritake_Tao So many effort to copy Anohana to... throw this background in the garbage. You know? See your dear childhood best friend die in young age is something terrible, and see the person come back as a ghost, data-ghost or anything is a giant phenomenon, but somehow everybody let it in second place to keep playing the stupid RPG game. So after all, this nakama, this group of friends wich is the main focus of the plot, is just not convincent. A fail enough to make all the series ruins. It is sad, since the idea "my dead friend is alive in a game" could be a lot better explored without need to copy intire elements of more famous anime and building a history more engaging. It is 6/10 for me, just because even failing, it is not an anime you just CANT watch more than 3 episodes without be annoyed to death, like so many others even better rated. |

| Not half bad overall but... MAL summary Asahi's life in reality ended simultaneously when she died playing Union, a world-renowned online RPG. The members of Subaru went separate ways when Union shut down due to Asahi's death. Six years later, Haruto logs onto a renewed version of Re'Union and reunites with Asahi who had died. Is it really her or just an electronic ghost? The former team members reunite and enter the mysterious and deadly online game to find out. Bolded part is episode 12 when they finally all reunite. Not bolded part is start of ep 1. Basically the plot is all there. Anime is basically only buildup lol. I hate when they do this. Story is 7/10 material, but open unended story so 6/10 it is. I would usually lower the score more for a foul play like this, but I actually like they put so much effort in buildup, lol. If this was a series of 24+ episodes, it would've been quite good, maybe 8/10 material depending on main story execution and ending. |
