Read the first manga years ago but I didn't realize how much of an assault Mei's kiss was. This is a huge step up from the last yuri I watched which was Sakura Trick. |

| Well, I haven't read the manga, so I'm gonna have a bit of a different experience, but so far, I think it's pretty good. I really like the opening and the music, as well as the credits and the theme there. The art style is very nice and I hope it stays at this consistency. So far the two girls aren't very likeable and it's obvious Mei has some bagage. Yuzu has some growing up to do and the story seems like they will both help each other resolve these issues. They're actually not THAT much different from one another, at least beneath the surface. It just seems that they handle their emotions differently, but it seems like they both have personalities that do not easily lend themselves to conflict resolution. I love yuri and the sister angle really intrigues me, but even I felt like the kiss was such a hard push. Mei was crossing a very large line here and I hope the show doesn't just let the dramatic irony and tension of that moment go. That kiss was very important. |

| There really are people who think that this will be the best anime of the season when we have Cardcaptor Sakura, Nanatasu no Taizai 2,Fate/Extra, Violet Evergarden, Overlord 2 and Itto Junji Collection in the same season as well? You guys are crazy! lol. We also just had Devilman which will probably be one of the best anime of 2018. Oh well, different opinions and such... Now regarding Citrus, nothing impressive, I might as well say that it was really generic(saw the same premise so many times in other shoujo works) but it's at least enjoyable, but if it becomes too dramatic I'll probably drop it. |
| Omg!! Waited so long for this!! It was amazing and so true to the manga... if not... even more detailed and explanatory! :D OP was brilliant, so surprised it's Nano.Ripe! I also like how the ED has all the drawings! The art is pretty good for the anime ^^ Just dunno about them purple eyes for Mei and... Tornado Twintail girl looks a tad different too... But wow... Dat intense scene at the end... To me, it went on for a tad too long, and the music was very dramatic. Eheh... Either way... Yuzu's voice actor sounds so much cooler than expected!! I love it all!! :D Can't wait!!! |

| Do people actually think that kiss scene was hot? I mean yeah of course two females kissing is hot looking but honestly it was way more uncomfortable than I think it was intended to be. Pretty rapey honestly. I'm not offended by it or anything but I'm not really into that sort of thing. I think the overly sugary sweet yuri like Sakura Trick is more my style. |

| Amazing first episode. Life needs more yuri. First trailer impression on art: 4/10 compared to the manga Afterwards: 10/10, especially the backgrounds, damn, they put the backgrounds of every other slice of life anime to shame. The voice actors all fit, and Yuzu's personality seems to show a lot more than it did in the manga! The kiss rape scene actually felt realistic with Yuzu resisting (& being foreshadowed weak, trying to lift boxes like 2 mins ago). Hype af. Tension takai. I've been buying every novel since the english translation dropped. This wipes away the depression from returning to school after winter break. |

| I had forgotten how rapey the first kissing scene was. It reminded me of Mitsu x Mitsu Drops. Sorry but I don't see how some people are able to get off to that shit. Other than that I have to say I liked it, especially since it's the first GL anime with an actual story that has come out in a while (Sakura Trick was just loli porn for thirsty heterosexual men). Yuzu is still my favorite out of the two main characters |

| One of my most anticipated Anime for this Season... As a manga reader, I'll say a Great Episode for a start. They did a great job adapting Chapter 1 into this one Episode and even add more scenes from the manga like the scene where Yuzu prepares to go to School... Both OP & ED are good, I like How they use Saburo Uta's Art for the Ending. Also nice Visuals... I'm waiting for Matsuri to appears, maybe in the last half part with the current pacing... |

| The old times when Mei used to be hard to handle. A very good adaptation, I liked the new details they added there are not in the 1st chapter, the kiss with the teacher was a bit more detailed, but we can see for Mei's face that she is just going with the flow like always. Mei's kiss to Yuzu in the end was also more hotter than in the manga. I have high hopes in this, it's my fave yuri. |

I came here to see if anyone else had had any issues with this scene. I've not read the manga/I don't know anything about this story and just thought I would check out this first episode. That scene really unnerved me... usually when characters are 'force kissed' they tend to slowly close their eyes/relax into it after a few seconds as a way to show that they want it too and have realised their feelings = it's quite romantic. Here she struggled/had her eyes open THE WHOLE TIME. But, it seems with context that scene made more sense. The force kiss by the teacher earlier (Mei was clearly struggling throughout it) means that is all she knows about 'kissing' She says when she's done forcibly kissing Yuzu:"That's what it [kissing] feels like." So I'm actually really empathetic for her and am interested to see where this goes. |
| Well, here it is. The OP leaves no ambiguity to it, this is a full-on shoujo-ai drama. Cool! I like how Yuzu was introduced. She's a GAL but she's not actually that confident and fakes some stuff. She seems likeable, surprisingly. Mei has much more to be discovered. She seems vulnerable but also extremely domineering. It's a weird contrast. I suppose she's being pressured into something with the homeroom teacher (btw she is 15 years old so it is FUCKING ILLEGAL or at least super creepy). So... I guess she's not into him and doesn't really know what she's doing, she's just always had strict authority and is a little bit screwed up because of it (technically she sexually assaulted Yuzu but whatever). I'll definitely keep watching. I hope that, intense shoujo-ai action aside, their relationship becomes something real (even if they don't out themselves as girlfriend-girlfriend). Also I hope the side characters which are undoubtedly going to be focused on very soon don't get in the way of this main romance. We'll just see where it goes from here. Hopefully it doesn't get too similar to Kuzu no Honkai because I hate that anime. |

| I was really looking forward to this adaptation and the first episode didn't disappoint. So far it has adapted the manga well with a few new additions that enhanced the episode imo. I'm really liking Yuzu here too. Her voice and face expressions fit her character very well. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| Overall it was a good episode. I was expecting a slightly different design but it was ok. As for the plot it was exactly what I thought it would be and I believe that Mei would be a really interesting character as the story goes on. |
