| When I watch some anime, my tummy feels sick, my body starts feeling hot, and I have the feeling that I want to rage and say some of the things about the characters I wouldn't say to a real person. Like when I watch Evangelion, I felt so uncomfortable with all the violence portrayed in it and all the confusing stuff and drama and rude behaviors from the characters that I dropped it. There was too much going on in it. So, I don't like tsunderes and I don't like really gory anime. I do start to feel nervous with video games and other movies/shows outside of anime as well for the same reasons. I dislike dramas and I dislike when characters have more than like a few flaws and really gory stuff. They make me feel sick, they make me want to go to the bathroom, and they make my body feel hot, that's some examples of how they make me feel. I don't even like watching some of the modern anime. The type of anime I like are Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Lupin, Fruits Basket, Chobits etc.. I've also noticed this with some of my friends too, we're highly sensitive people and me and my friends don't like dramas and rude behaviors from characters and crying and stuff like that. My mom doesn't even like anime because of all the violence in them. My friends like anime but we were watching Paradise Kiss and one of my friends turned it off because she didn't like the feel of it with people being rude and the unnecessary cursing. She and her younger sister try to avoid that kind of stuff. The older sister watched Your Lie in April but she thought it had too much drama in it. |

| OP i think you just have a case of being too sensitive. We all felt uncomfortable watching violence for the first time in any form of entertainment, be it movies or series or cartoon. However, with more exposure, you get more de-sensitized (as much as i hate using this word). Despite that, I admit even i feel uncomfortable when the violence is too much explicit (in live actions for the most part) especially if it involves cannibalism, stay away from those. |

The only Slice of Life I was okay with were Barakamon, Whisper of the Heart, Fruits Basket, Chobits, and Azumanga Daioh. Aria in my eyes has some disrespect in it and it doesn't mean I'm 7 because I see it as disrespect and you don't! I compare the rating stars on anidb of Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion, Evangelion has 2 and a half stars in violence, 3 stars in angst while Cowboy Bebop has like a half a star in both. Cowboy Bebop doesn't show as much emotion/crying as Evangelion does. And also, I am not a big fan of stories revolving around children or even teenagers. My autism makes it hard for me to understand some stuff and it also makes me criticize people for doing stuff that I perceive as injustice. I have only watched like 3 episodes of Aria and that's it. I've watched 18 episodes of Evangelion. |
