| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It's the daddy strikes back episode of Bleach. Firstly, Ichigo's father a Shinigami and captain class to boot ... WTF! Although this now makes sense of how all his children can see hollows. Then Ishida's father comes back and saying how Ishida's powers were incomplete/amateur or something like that. All an all, an interesting episode. I can't wait to see Ichigo's reaction when he finds out (if he ever does) that his father is a Shinigami. Mod Edit: Added episode discussion header |

| Ahh brilliant ... this arc got to the good stuff very quickly! What a great start - the two fathers and the introduction of Vizards and Arrancar. It feels like they have packed in so much, when other animes (naming no names :P) would take twice as long to do it. I for one really like Ririn, Cloud and Nova, although I think they shouldn't be thrown into the episodes unnecessarily. Kon though is such a liability in Ichigo's body - I wouldn't trust him! Ichigo is certainly getting himself noticed, he'd better be careful about this. |

| Episode 111: WTF, Shinji has both a Hollow's Mask and a Soul Reaper's Zanpaktou?! OMFG, Ichigo's dad is a Soul Reaper, and Uryuu's Dad still has his Quincy Powers? :O!!!! Can't wait for Episodes 112 & 113, it sucks that I'll have to wait an extra week to see both because of Adult Swim airing that stupid G.I. Joe Movie. |

| I for one disliked the fact that they decided to carry the filler arc into the canon. Do they need to tie up loose ends? Of course. But they could have found a better way to do it without making future episodes convoluted with the mod souls crazy antics and Noba's annoying-because-it-saves-everyone-from-anything teleportation power. Hell they could have finally killed someone off(them) to at least give the impression that main characters can die, even if it isn't actually the case. Overall the bit with Grand Fisher was to drawn out, I sighed with relief when Ichigo's father finally came our as expected and did the inevitable deed. Hopefully next week we'll actually get back to some action. |

| I don't see why people are so opposed to the other mod souls being in. It actually makes the filler eps feel more part of the story. If they've just done an arc of filler they might as well use the stuff they just did... ---- I'm guessing Ishida will accept but it's an interesting twist! I guess Ichigo's dad being a shinigami explains some things, suprised he didn't say something to Grand Fisher like 'you killed my wife' and then strike him xD |

| Well I didn't expect this, first Uryuu's father back to action and now Ichigo's well that sure is interesting! So this arc will gather the parents of everyone perhaps? Either way good episode, lets see what's next! |

| Ichigo's dad being a soul reaper, well the kids seeing hollows makes sense now. He is badass, he's better looking as a soul reaper and not looking like a dolt of a dad lol. Didn't think he would have been a captain Plus Uryuu's dad doesn't think his powers were good enough, that's sad. Arrancar's are the opposite of Vizards, hollows wanna be soul reapers and soul reapers wanna be hollows - or at least have their powers. Weird. |
