It's funny to see that almost everyone who liked Alisha armatization are calling her their "waifu". I'm sure most of this people decided to play Zestiria just because of her design. That's just stupid.
I'm glad she didn't have this kind of role in the game otherwise people outside Japan wouldn't have enjoyed it.

You have the right to like this anime. But saying that it's better than the game is just a joke. I've never seen such a slow action show, which only develops one single character, and so poorly written.

1. fanservice for (a lot of ) angry alisha fan
2. berseria marketing
3. probably 3rd game teaser

well, i agree it's terrible, but so was the original, so i can't rly complain about it.

I have really enjoyed the last episodes. Everything just came together, although I do agree that this has been the slowest action show I have ever watched. Some fights are just plain boring. Visually amazing, but very plain.

That whole armatization concept looked cool with both Alisha and Rose transformations. Guessing the next Sorey transformations involve those two as weapons.

The troops are supposed to give the vibe of 'We are at war!' thing .. Anime is pretty ridiculous ..

Though I think Zestiria had a lot of potential .. If berseria was made first and was not thought up randomly after zestiria .. Zestiria might have been REALLY good..

A little late but finally got around to watching it. Nice to see Alisha finally transform and even got her own little sequence.

And the stuff going on with Lunarre... I don't think anyone only watching the anime would actually care or know what the fuck is going on with him. They basically just added him back in out of nowhere a few episodes ago expecting people to know his entire story and the meaning behind what he's trying to do despite the fact we've only seen him do like 3 things, 2 of them being trying to kill people. I would say his bit ruined the episode for me. What a waste.

You can definitely tell who was anime only. In the game you can not purify dragons. You can only kill them. So of course they will kill them.

And now the expedition to the North begins now. Man the North is the land of snow eh. But its a good thing that Rose manage to procure that much warm and thick clothes though. And it looks like they have a surprising guest in the form of Symonne the lord of calamity's aide here. She's the one person that i can't seem to figure out. Still its nice to see Alisha and Rose keep up their training. When the time comes they need to be ready to assist Sorey and the others. Its nice to see Rose being so determined to help Sorey though. Even when Dezel is starting to have doubts Rose continues to be strong. Still this process is not easy and Rose is only slightly better because she was possessed by Dezel before. Still its nice seeing Edna at least try and cheer Alisha up.
Its nice seeing the close relationship that Rose and Alisha have though since they use to be enemies after all. Alisha's subordinates though apart from being capable fighters are also pretty good cooks as well eh. Its nice to see that even seraphs can appreciate good food. While Humans have their own problems so do seraphs. Like they can't have good food lol.

Hmm a power than can create worlds eh. Seems like something the lord of calamity would like. Hmm so Earthpulses are what kept the balance in this world and their collapse was what bough this age of calamity eh. So in that sense restoring them would go a long way in reducing the lord's power. It is strange that the lord will move north when there are far more people in the south. Still its something that they need time to mull over so its best to get some rest as Lailah said. Hmm so it seems that Symonne has lost her connection with her master so thats why she headed north with them. But she's still as mysterious as ever eh. It seems that the enemy would not wait for them to cross the mountain and instead launch a pre preemptive strike on them while they are resting. Man thats some heavy fog that they are heading into. Using the fog as a cover the enemy can easily scatter them if striking in full force. Its nice seeing all the seraphs use their powers to protect the army though. So the Malevolence sees all life whether human or seraph as poison eh. Damm thats a whole nest of dragons that they encountered. With one dragon being powerful enough to take on Sorey and co and cause them that much trouble that much is far worst. It also means that all the seraphs here have been corrupted and turned into dragons as well. Meanwhile Alisha's stalker is finally here eh.

A running convoy battle eh. Now this should be interesting. Wow the combat scenes here are pretty good. Calling upon two different seraphs one after another to deal with the dragons was cool. Even faced with this situation its nice to see Rose still remains brave and express a desire to help. With a will and a desire anything is possible and its nice to see Rose being able to finally amatize with Dezel. Of course what Rose can do so can Alisha and its to see both are able to achieve it. Even the stalker wants to help them eh lol. Guess Symonne is now an enemy then eh. Too bad as she could have become an ally. Man Symonne sure is loyal to her master. At the same time its funny to watch Lunarre who's supposed to be a bad guy actually do so much to help Sorey and the others. Rose finally understands that justice by her hand wasn't going to work but if there is a way to get rid of all the malevolence in one strike then they should take it to protect the world. And Symonne become a dragon in the end and the final boss before the true boss eh.

Alisha and Rose's Armatization form was beautiful!
I don't care if this exist or not in the game, I loved!!! The only thing that disturb me is Lunarre's attitude... so random and nonsense.
So I prefer create a nonsense theory where he loves Alisha. lol
We don't know nothing about him so, could be a reason to explain a nonsense action like that. lol Ok, the anime follows some stranger linestories...so...
BTW...Only me is so stupid to imagine Lunarre and Alisha as a couple? I mean, Why he is risking his life like that? He is trying to be useful to who? To Alisha? To the world? I don't think the answer is the second... So,for one second I will accept this bullshit. lol, A girl can dream, right? Judge me if you want, I don't care.

The nice of this chapter was the "Armatization", where we can enjoy with a great characters transformed!!

The plot, very comun, nothing special.....

Why do people play this kind of games anyways? Both gameplay and story are an afterthought, and the graphics are poor as well. It's nothing but flashy characters, grinding and inventory management at that point.

I've noticed that the writers of this show seem to just ignore the series' own established logic.

--- 1. Early on they established that ONLY the shepherd can "purify" a hyouma ---
--- no one, not even the seraphims can take them out. That's why the shepherd is so important. ---
--- Normal humans cannot perceive seraphims, hyoumas, malevolence at all ---

then we get
1.1. Zaveid who can "kill" hyouma with a magical gun. Fair enough, he's a rare case who kill the possessed being instead of purifying it

BUT then we get
1.2. Seraphim (Mikleo) with a boost from Normins can take out a hyouma. (It's not clear if they purify or kill as the enemy just goes poof)
It makes you wonder why they haven't been doing that. Having a shepherd's power to help is nice but they could've taken care of some of the problem themselves instead of sitting on their thumb

1.3 a Hyouma (fox/clown guy) taking out multiple ghost-looking hyoumas in 1-hit.
We can justify that, since they're both hyoumas, they could probably take each other out. But that doesn't explains why the ghosts attacked him. These basic-units don't seem to have a mind of their own. Humans/seraphims/shepherds are like poison to them, so they're actively seeking to destroy the source of the unplesantness. But another hyouma.... why?

1.4 Why did they bring normal humans who can barely feel, let alone see, malevolence and magical creatures?
Not only are they useless deadweight as they can't fight or see the enemy, it's quite possible for them to increase the level of malevolence. When there are that many humans in 1 place, they're bound to do something stupid. Once they see the shepherd fights, a lot of them are going to be scared and confused which will boost the enemy's power.

1.5 Fox/clown Hyouma. When the scattered bones first attacked Alisha, everyone could see fox-guy. Rose was issuing him orders, implying that he'd been with the group for at least some time, albeit in disguise.
The princess could see AND fight with the fox-guy from the get-go. She couldn't see nor hear any of the seraphims without using the shepherd as a router but this hyouma is somehow special...

--- 2. Dragons are so hard to purify that no shepherd has ever been able to do it. It took Sorey + 2 squires to purify. The task for was so hard that they had to rest in bed for almost 2 weeks ---

Then we get
2.1 Sorey taking out dragons in 1-shot, one dragon after another. And it seems to take 0 toll on him

2.2 Squires, combined with a seraph, can also 1-shot dragons and other ghost hyoumas.
Squires have the shepherd's power so it's understandable that they can purify too but 1-shotting a dragon?

--- 3. Dragons are corrupted seraphims that had the time to grow from dragon puppies into dragons. When sorey purified the 1 drake, it turned back into a normal seraphim guy (the one who watch over the library) ---

3.1 Sorey & rose purified the dead dragon in the church. No alive/dead seraphim was left behind.

3.2 Sorey & girls purified the dragon in Ladylake, there didn't seem to be a seraphim left behind here neither.

3.3 Sorey & girls purified multiple dragons in "the north." No seraphims left behind here too.
It makes you wonder where did all these seraphims went? The purified dragons kinda just went.. poof.

3.4 If purified dragons just goes... poof with no seraphim left behind then what's the difference between purifying edna's brother and outright killing him? They want to purify the dragon to get him back but purifying matured dragons seems to just make them goes... poof.

--- 4. Sorey couldn't get to the dragon puppy (Drake) because it was flying so high so he had to wait for Mikleo's bow. ---

4.1 Sorey jump(?) so high that he could get to the dragons. Especially in his bow form where he just seemingly glided up in a standing pose to shoot another dragon. Why he didn't just shoot it from the ground is anyone's guesses

4.2 Armatised Squires just casually fly and hover in mid-air while they fight the dragons.
The Shepherd himself couldn't even fly in rock-form so how is a newbie squire doing that?

There just seems to be a lot plot-holes with character suddenly gaining power that the plot established that they can't be gained simply because the plot calls for it.

Yep and a long ponytail seems to be a side effect of Armatizing. Rose suddenly grown a ponytail (which she lost the moment she transformed back) and Alisha's ponytail grew out too

Ok now all of a sudden they don't give a single fuck about killing Hellions unless they're purifying those dragons easily asf already? And also I wish we had more episodes to have gotten better character development for that one random Hellion that keeps following them around then sacrifices himself and the goth loli whose motivations make no sense.
