Really sad that Arima died and Kaneki will have another important person gone. :((( What I really liked this chap was Furuta's overall calm attitude. Now he's off to destroy more people, YAY!! yEAH JUST KIDDING. |
| Father vs Son fight ends, when the father realizes the son doesnt need him anymore. Arima cared for kaneki. He was always doing his job, but inside he cared, like a father. He knew that the work he had to do was fucked up, but he couldnt do anything himself. When he found kanekii, he found a son. Tortured him, trained him, made him stronger. During the battle, kaneki found a reason to live for. And by the end of the battle he proved that he was strong enough to live on. A fathers job is done, isnt it. Thats my take on the events happening. |
| Re-reading it so many times makes the scene with Arima even more sad. Poor dude... he was really captured in his own tragedy and it never seemed like he could get out of it. The affection for Kaneki is understandable. He felt that our beloved MC is someone who's dealing with his own tragedy that won't let go of him. Kaneki understood that and showed the respect his 'sensei' deserved. Some people may didn't like it as much, but for me it was one of the most beautiful scenes Ishida sensei has drawn. Kudos to him! I love how much meaning and details he puts in an important moment like that. |

| That last panel made me linger. At first I was "wait did I get it right, has he just slit his throat", then "no I must've misunderstood, it's some random movement in the right corner", then "yes I got it right...so wtf!" Waaaaaah. |

| Harakiri is the best way to kill off one of the strongest characters ever made. Arima-Kaneki was a very good fight, and as we see in this chapter Kaneki still retains some feelings from his true mentor. Furuta destroying and trolling Eto. Furuta is love. Furuta is life. |

| Arima suicide, did not see that coming. Never even thought about that. Furuta being overpowered as hell. He took down Eto which even Kaneki could barely do (well maybe he could if he wasn't pining for her) and left her for dead. I guess ground up editor pate only goes so far. |

I didn't expect his power up to be that big. Since the jason torture and maybe even before we've known kaneki's healing is on another level, getting stabbed like that should do basically nothing to him, at least if he's well fed which is the only reason why it's a little questionable. Just because she has a strong kagune doesn't mean she is strong. I would be extremely surprised if she is stronger than shachi. |

But I would've loved to see him help ghouls. The outcome couldve been better. But I dont hate the manga for it. However I would love some information or reasons or anything about arima in some or the other future chaps. |

| 1/5. Sad because I always think tokyo ghoul is 5/5 pretty much. It's stupid that Kaneki can take Arima and that Eto lost. The power scaling is becoming completely fucked up at this point. It's complete bullshit that Arima could have kill Kaneki 600+ times but because Kaneki learned the power of friendship he won. God dammit, i thought tokyo ghoul was at least safe from the boring ass cliche. |
| Was extremely surprised that Arima was offed like that, but I know this isn't the last we will see of him. We will be getting his back story very soon hopefully. |
| The suicide was really unexpected. And Eto losing to Furuta was all the more so. I think he pulled a stunt of sorts to defeat her (since he was talking about Ghoul senses) he may have used some trick to weaken her, cuz I don't see him being anywhere strong to beat Eto without sustaining injuries. |

| In the end Arima was too strong so he had to kill himself :'( Kaneki didn't understand that Arima wanted to die and was pinning his hopes on him, he even spared his friends and did kill kaneki during the whole match,. R.I.P. sweet prince :'( |

| So Arima made a suicide but if the theories are correct his also a half ghoul as Furuta from V so the fight might continue, the art was so awesome this chapter expect no less from Ishida Sensei. |
