| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Tense episode, I found this to be a rather serious start for Trunks especially after his mother got attacked by some unknown entity. I kinda like his designs this arc as well. Still had funny parts like with Goku and Piccolo working with cabbages though LOL, got some laughs out of that. Seeing some of the Cell Saga arc scenes gave me nostalgia. Black Goku has a sinister looking face at the end..wow, I'm excited to see strong he really is.. |

| So it actually is old future trunks. Everything was pointing at current trunks' future. He says, "There are friends in the past I went to." I wonder how Mai even makes it in here. Who cares! Dragon Ball Super is definitely getting better. RIP Bulma & Mai :( Also, is this the start of a new Baby arc? Black Goku says, "Today is the day you stop living, saiyan." I can sense some Baby on this one. |

| Intense start... You know, this Black Goku pointed Trunks as 'saiyan' and that means he is introducing himself as another being. Yet we have to wait for further details, this is actually really exciting :D |

| It does not convence me that Black Goku (they would be any other kind of new villain instead) but the sountrack in this episode was amazing! there were new ones that fit with the story so far! |

| Minor thought: They missed a good chance to bring Raditz back tbh. They could have used a ssj god or equiv strength of that timeline/universe Raditz. Would have been a great twist. That said, I'm digging this. Can't wait for the subs |

| Ok, so future Mai is around Trunks's age... How? She (and the rest of the Pilaf Gang) couldn't make the wish to be younger, since all Z fighters except Trunks are long dead in that timeline, and the Dragon Balls don't exist. Second thing. This guy named Black looks like Goku and has one Potara earring, and he doesn't address himself as a saiyan. My guess is that maybe Black is a being taking form of dead fighters, somewhat like Destron Gas that Dr. Raichi created? Also, there already was an evil version of Goku - Turles. Toei (and Toriyama) love to repeat stories... |

| OMG, OMGEEEEEE! I have gone fanboy for this episode, oh the nostalgia, after seeing future Trunks and the cell saga flashbacks. Oh the tenseness of this episode. THIS IS THE DB!!! THE ONE I REMEMBER FROM MY CHILDHOOD!!! Future Trunks vs Black (Evil Goku) can't wait for next week. One curious thing is that when Trunks left they were SSJ2, but now his father and Goku are Gods I wonder what his reaction will be like.  |

| Great episode, Things are getting intense. OST was really good this episode, Toei stepping up their game :O Now if only they would extend that too One Piece XDD Black Goku looks quite cool and villainous xD Looking forward to this arc :D |

| That was okay, only the last few seconds of the episode were intense cuz we got to see how the villain looks like, gonna keep watching it only to find out why black goku ended up this way but overall this feels like a huge rehash. |

| Well, the field scene and Beerus scene, were obviously for some nostalgia and comedy moments. Omni-King destroyed 6 universes because of bad mood. Wait till he hits puberty lol... Still after that, a very tense story build up, really liked the feel of it. I hope it stays like this. Too bad Bulma and Mai didn't make it... :[ I'm really curious about: - implementing Mai in the story arc. What for and why? I seriously though it will be future Pan, seeing the first character spoilers ;p - the background story of Black Goku. Those Potara Earrings make me really wonder o.O - who is that green dude with the white hair. Piccolo fused with Supreme Kai maybe? So many questions, so few answers :| |

| That was freakin' AMAAAZING!! It only took 46 episodes too.......but my god was it worth it! I hope this kind of quality continues. Also, Mai is probably not dead...probably... |
