| It's good to see Gate again! =D The OP was nice and enjoyable to listen to, while the ED was great, helped by the amusing scenes, especially with Rory, within the ED too. The bunny rape scene certainly surprised here. What a prick of a prince to be treating her as a toy. I'm hoping now that he gets what's coming to him soon. Itami's outfit was pretty funny. At first, I thought his hat was either a worn-down brown sack or a pile of poo on his head. No wonder his comrades were all laughing at him. XD |

| Pretty good episode, rape scene was a bit weird, but it is a nice continuation of the first half. Also, I think the world building is actually amazing, the creators actually put a lot of effort into it which is really appreciated. |

| I liked the return of GATE. But that scene of Pina's brother... Brutal. The manga of GATE is extremely gorey but the anime was a more tamed down version which I preferred. So I don't know about that scene. Overall I liked this episode! |

Tyuule, the bunny princess slave, plays a major role down the line. The scene was necessary to show her suffering so it gives some context to what happens later on. They did it as tastefully as possible, while still giving you that intense feeling of disgust that makes you want to shove a fragmentation grenade up the Prince's ass and pull the pin. I'm impressed the anime went that far with that and the red light district sequence of scenes. It means they actually care about telling the established story within reason. they still will modify stuff. It's a given. Manga version can get brutal at times. |

| I like that "showing of japanese military power." They should be glad they don't have to see the USA... or say back in WW2 era, Britain, Nazi, USSR... Even modern day Russia, China... And be fortunate to not face a nuke or orbital bombardments... They could 1-shot that dragon if they brought some big gnarly howitzer or a railgun in lol. Though if they wanted to go for the most style, it'd be A-10's and/or AC-130. Nice to see this show back on air, though i didn't expect to see a rape scene. Yes, more Rory. |

| A beautiful return for this show. I loved how they adapted the Garden Party and the secret "Display of force" to those senators. After what happened to last season I'm pleasantly surprised that they adapted the Bunny Queen scene, though to be fair if they made any changes from that then the prick of a Prince would be relegated to a bit-part character status. I do not like how they drew him though, because as many have said he now looks like Gilgamesh as opposed to the sick ugly bastard he was in the manga (a face which made it perfectly alright to hate his guts even more). Now he looks way too much of a bishounen, which really shouldn't happen. Loved the scene between Mari and Misery, as well as the flashback for how they took over a portion of the capital after Bessala's foolish raid. Also found it hilarious how Misery mentioned none of the JSDF guys would take her up on her offer was making her lose confidence. Overall this episode was a great way to jump back into the world, even with as little of Rory, Tuka and Leilei that we saw. Am so hyped for next episode. I cannot wait to see Shino go HAM all over Zorzal's fugly mug. Oh, and the OP was good, but the ED was absolute perfection! |

| I can't remember enough from the previous season to follow everything that's going on right now in terms of the politics, but it was entertaining nonetheless. I actually like that they don't shy away from showing the harsh realities of a world in this medieval-like state (nobleman taking advantage of "lower class" women, showing the deplorable conditions of the red light district, addressing the topic of prostitutes getting pregnant and sexually transmitted diseases, etc.). |
| wow i didn't expect they choose a more mature style for this season. i still not quite fully understand about all the peace talk yet, can somebody help me with that? lol Mari looks so pretty with casual clothing, but not many Lelei Rori and Tuka moments.. i miss them so much!! btw  YUM |
