Fanservice was really nice, it was subtle and clever, the animation and style of the show is also really nice, MC actually has a personality, +Mai and Reina look kawaii af(bonus points for Reina being best character of all time, Kirby. doujins when.) Only complaint is that the fairy is pretty annoying. |

| Fanservice in limbo. xD Well, I like it. It was a good first episode. It doesn't stand out, but it's still alright. Mai-senpai is gonna be Miss Fanservice of this series and I thought MC was the edgy type of character, but he's not. I have a feeling that vore fans would love Reina. And that's Venera-sama's voice I've been hearing from Kurumi-chan! I'm a happy follower. <3 |

| That was an empty experience. Not even high quality art and animation can save magical highschool light novel anime from being mediocre at best. I got absolutely nothing out of this. At least our main character didn't walk in on a girl in underwear and had to duel her afterwards. But fret not! There's one of those this season. Bahamut something something. -_- |

| The animation looks like every second anime and reminds me of SAO or Gate and the bouncing and touching boobs fanservice sucks. Mai reminds me of Sento from Amagi Brilliant Park and Reina of Ayumi from Charlotte. I'm not really sure what to except from this anime. |

| I dont care about the fanservice - I just enjoyed it for what it was and honestly the world building wasn't to bad at all - visual were good. and seemed fun overall. I am looking forward to seeing where they take this. |

| I enjoyed the first episode, it had a good opening and ending, good animation and a interesting plot. This episode started with a good introduction of the whole world and then introduced the characters without taking the whole episode to do so and gave us some pretty good action for a first episode and come on that fanservice was on point! lol I love Mai so far and can't wait to learn more about her and everyone else and see them introduce that girl at the end. So I enjoyed the first episode and i can't wait to see what will the rest of this season will be like. It's not overkill with fanservice appearing constantly to the same extent as the limbo scene, and any fanservice that appears behind the main fanservice scenes is actually subtle. |

| Damn KyoAni giving zero fucks going all in! while i enjoy a decent amount of fanservice here and there this was really in your face (at least the limbo part was) for a first episode still i found it more funny then distasteful, but KyoAni + fanservice is a blessing. also People raging about this but Giving Free an Pass "Okay" but i won't even start that. seems serviceable doubt it'd be any better than this but it's kyoAni so just like PA works i'll watch it for the visuals. still can't not think of all the Dojinshi's being made Thanks Mai |

| The animation was really good and I adore Hayami Saori,but that's pretty much it. I'm not a fan of fanservice for the sake of fanservice (ecchi series are another thing) but they were pretty clever and self-aware of the cliche tropes. Points for creativity, I can't remember the last time fan service was fun instead of boring or distasteful. The plot and the world seem generic and I didn't warm up to characters. Surprisingly I might learn to like Mai, which is new since I don't usually care about characters like her. I might drop this after three or four episodes, we'll see how it'll develop. Tl;dr it was okay. I've seen worse chuuni/teenage-boys-wet-dream series. |

But hey, I'll wait and see, I kinda like where it's going. If this anime begins to have too much fan service, I'll probably still push through, I really don't want to drop this anime. |
| So far all I got from this show was ass and tits. Tho when Izumi appeared and that Mai limbo scene had me dying. Gonna give this show 2 more episodes to decide if to drop. |

The fanservice is so tongue-in-cheek and obviously played up for comedy that I'm concerned for the people who say the first episode is bad only because of it. The premise has potential too. Sure, the episode wasn't perfect. The exposition was clumsy and the main male character is bland so far (basically the same problems that plague most LN adaptations.) Still, I don't see how it's generic at all since this episode spent a third of its runtime focusing on limbo dancing utility poles. That's the most original thing I've seen from an anime's first episode in a long time. |

| I haven't read the light novel of this series at all, completely new to it, I just hope the story picks up in the next few episodes and explains a little bit more. The animation is nice, it's very lighthearted and funny, missing the main story drive for me right now, but not a bad start. |

| Most beautiful visuals EVEEEEEEEEER. Disappearance was shit (compare the cafeteria scenes!!!) Animation was top notch, and the directing... THE DIRECTING. Great editing too. Characters are sooooo funny haha lol based kyoani chu2byou s3 ^^' breasts animation so much than gainax's (gunbuster was shit) interesting premise with interesting character with probably interesting back story ^^' but DAT LIMBO SCENE was so epic and i loved how she fondles her breasts before doing cool and interesting magical stuff waiting for doujins ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Plot twist: self-awareness doesn't make this show less shitty if they do nothing with that. Edit: of course the animation was really cool and pretty impressive at some times. But it was so uninspired. So random. Animation and visuals aren't everything, and you have to properly use it with other elements to make something good. And visuals aren't even *that* great overall. |

| It was fine. The OP is catchy and the setting is interesting enough for me. The thing is, since when did Kyoani make this blatant fanservice with boob physics? I am seriously surprised about that more than anything else... |
