| It's not exactly a word, but I think when you're very repetitive you don't make yourself look very convincing. Especially when you're ignoring part of the topic because you're fixated on one part of it. I usually stop replying to those types, though, because I think that trying to talk to a broken record is pointless. |

Once you get extremely defensive and lean on "troll" or abandoning a thread, your argument must of been growing weak. |

This doesn't mean that I don't care about their view, rather that I feel they are not putting enough effort into expressing it, whatever it may be. The reason why I add ad hominems or insults, however, is simply because it's fun. Once I have decided that an argument is not worth my time because the other side is not putting enough effort into it, why not mess around with them a little bit? |
