If you are thinking about the major one:
then I fully agree, I'd say it's one of the greatest plot twists I've ever seen.

Oh man I must be coming from a totally different world line. I thought the major WTFBBQOMFGLOLMAO spoiler was
, but then I was fine after I flipped tables and like HNNNGed -fap- -fap- -fap-

By the same token, I knew that I wasn't actually gay
Man I'm so cool.

Rather then that, there's always gonna be unexpected plot twists.
Not necessarily unexpected. There's a lot of plot twists that you can see coming miles away after all. The more you've seen, the more it takes to catch you off guard, but a talented writer can still pull it off.

I can't really say that was unexpected. Since that WAS the first D-letter that started it all.

That was a good twist, but not unexpected, which is why I can't think of many, the one stated on Code Geass with Euphy was probably my most unexpected plot twist. Man, that was TOTALLY unexpected.

Well I don't know about you but I had COMPLETELY forgotten about it by the time i watched episode 20. Therefore it came as quite a shock and was a literally jaw dropping "reveal", something I can't say about all that many shows.

I watched it as a batch after it was completed so it only took me like 2-3 days to finish the series. So yeah. One of the reasons why I always prefer to watch shows after it was completed, watching something weekly makes me forget quite easily what happened.

Bleach

Bleach was actually fantastic the first arc, and yeah I agree this was one of the biggest plot twists I've ever come across in an anime.

What about Angel Beats!

I wouldn't say it was that unexpected but I think it's still a big deal.

There are far bigger plot twists to come in the monogatari series.
Especially in Kabuki, Otori and Koimonogatari.

Oh yeah, after watching some School Rumble youtube videos, School Rumble definitely pulled the best unexpected ending (and no, best here is not a good thing).

It was just a BLOW to the face. I raged for like 5 minutes, then feel sad for like the entire day before doing something else.

For the manga, it was unexpected because it had NO preamble. Everything was going fine and then... BAM, the first chapter comes and I wonder what the eff is going on, then it ends like 3 chapter later. WHAT THE EFFFFFFFF MAN. For the anime they did virtually the same crap with 2 OVAs. Holycrap, as if trolling once isn't enough, they have to do it on the anime as well. Damn it all.

Damn I'm raging again. Maybe I'll rewatch School Rumble again... just cuz I'm a lowly human prone to masochism.

Yeah that one from bleach when

and also from Blood-C never saw that one coming in episode 11 i think it was
Please don't look at the spoiler for Blood-C unless you finished the series. it will destroy the plot twist for you.

I can figure out things before they happen most of the time, but those two actually shocked me.

I'd say School Days, I don't come across many twists but with School Days it was different because I went into the show thinking it was going to be another one of those average high school love harem animes based on some PC game like Shuffle or something.

And as it went on I thought something was up, it was somewhat creepy but it wasnt pushed and obvious, but I didn't expect that ending.

Well, it IS laid right out on the table in the beginning, but there's just something about the way the plot moves that makes it seem like
is a problem of the past and not that it's coming back like that! Well at least that's how I felt.

Man, I remember the first time watching Outlaw Star being completely shocked in the early going when

It was such a powerful moment and crucial for Gene; he was forced to break out of his shell and fear of space and face it head on.

Not only was it expected, the movie flat out told the viewer in it's opening scene that this would happen O_o (and that didn't make it the tiniest bit less tragic and hard to swallow)

And that's exactly what makes it so good. Grave of the Fireflies didn't need plot twists to make me cry.

Totally agree

Madoka Magica: all of the twists, I went in unspoiled. So glad I managed to see that show pretty much blind beyond "it's more serious and darker than it first appears".
